When your CPV O-ring fails it causes a slow oil leak on the passenger side of the engine, making an oily mess that frequently resembles a rear main seal leak. Replacing the CPV with an upgraded o-ring ensures a long-term solution to this common problem.

The factory o-ring over time fails from heat cycling and oil exposure due to the Buna rubber used in OEM o-rings, while the included Viton Fluoroelastomer is resistant to a much higher temperature to ensure prolonged life without leaking.

After the introduction of the M52TU/M54 engines, BMW observed an uptick in CCV-related issues, especially in cold regions. Vehicles operating in extremely low temperatures often encountered a blockage in the CCV dipstick hose, leading to elevated crankcase pressure and visible blue smoke from the exhaust. To address this issue, BMW introduced cold climate-specific hoses with foam insulation, preventing condensation and facilitating quicker oil warm-up. This kit incorporates top-notch reproduction cold climate hoses to ensure optimal CCV performance across all weather conditions.

The crankcase ventilation valve, known as the oil separator, PCV, CCV, or crankcase pressure regulator valve, plays a vital role in redirecting oil from your vehicle's intake system back into the engine oil pan. This system comprises numerous plastic and rubber hoses, prone to damage due to prolonged exposure to chemicals and heat.

Designed to tackle or prevent impending CCV system failures, this kit includes four foam-insulated hoses made from durable plastic capable of withstanding heat fluctuations and chemical exposure. Additionally, a new ventilation valve is included for a comprehensive and long-lasting repair solution.

Signs indicating the need for crankcase ventilation system replacement include:

Whistling sounds from the intake manifold, caused by crankcase pressure venting through holes in the CCV hoses. Blue smoke emitting from the tailpipe, indicating oil consumption. Excessive oil usage. Milky or yellowish buildup under the oil cap, suggesting condensation due to ventilation valve malfunction. If you're experiencing misfires, lean fuel codes, decreased fuel efficiency, or noticeable oil consumption, it's advisable to overhaul your crankcase ventilation system. Opt for this reliable system from Febi-Bilstein for a repair that meets factory standards and ensures consistent performance.

Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. To prevent this, have put together our High-Performance Ignition Service Kits. These kits include new Bav Auto High-Performance Ignition Coils, new spark plugs, dielectric grease, and a BMW spark plug service label to keep track of when your spark plugs were replaced.

Bav Auto's Ignition coils feature core windings that have been modified to increase firepower and promote a faster, more efficient burn. This gives your BMW/MINI increased torque in the lower range of RPM and more horsepower in the upper range. Exact improvements depend on the current condition of your engine, but you'll definitely feel the difference. They'll also improve your fuel economy.

From 1974 to 2019, Bavarian Autosport was one of the premier vendors for BMW and MINI auto parts. We are happy to preserve the Bav Auto legacy by continuing to carry their high-quality products into the future. All Bav Auto parts will remain unchanged in design and sourced from the same OEM suppliers to ensure long-lasting reliability. We trust these parts, accessories, and upgrades so confidently that we back every Bavarian Autosport branded component with a 2-year warranty.

As a leading source of high-performance BMW parts and accessories since 1993, we at Turner Motorsport are honored to be the go-to supplier for tens of thousands of enthusiasts the world over. With over two decades of parts, service, and racing experience under our belt, we provide only quality performance and replacement parts. All of our performance parts are those we would (and do!) install and run on our own cars, as well as replacement parts that are Genuine BMW or from OEM manufacturers. The factory VANOS exhaust hub on the S54 engine is known to develop excessive play where the drive tabs interface with the oil pump disk. Over time, this imprecise fitment causes a back-and-forth rattling motion that can result in the tabs shearing off inside the engine, risking catastrophic damage or complete engine failure. Unlike other aftermarket solutions that require full VANOS disassembly, retiming, or replacement of the oil pump disk, the Turner Motorsport S54 VANOS Hub Upgrade offers a smarter approach. Our bolt-on fix eliminates the common failure point without opening the VANOS unit or disturbing engine timing.

Our solution involves removing the worn tabs from your stock exhaust hub and installing our precision-fit replacement, which is precision-machined from 4340 steel and hardened to meet OEM specifications. Designed using 3D scanning and CAD modeling, the Turner Motorsport VANOS Exhaust Hub Upgrade provides a tight, interference-free fit into the oil pump disc, completely resolving the issue without unnecessary labor.

Rogue Engineering has developed a power pulley kit that reduces the drag on specific pulleys while allowing others to remain at their same efficiency. This allows for perfect operation in daily driven vehicles without a hiccup or stutter. However, when the demand for power is requested, the power pulley kit allows for the freed power to become apparent.  The term "power" pulley is a bit of a misnomer. Underdrive pulleys actually free up power by reducing the drag caused by the accessories.  These pulleys are based off a calculated percentage from factory dimensions, so that particular component speeds are safely reduced without affecting their true purpose.

Rogue Engineering Power Pullies are CNC machined from 6061-T6, heat treated aluminum and specially coated with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize finish. This kind of anodizing is not to be confused with a Type II cosmetic anodize finish (typical colors such as red, blue, silver, green, etc.). The hard coat anodize finish actually builds a small surface layer on top of the aluminum, preventing wear.
