Knock down the roadblocks preventing you from performing regular maintenance on your BMW. On the E9x and E8x chassis you run into issues with changing the rear spark plugs and coil packs. A job that should take approximately an hour or so ends up taking significantly longer because you have to remove the cowl and all associated screws. Most of the time the screws end up missing or dropped into your engine bay which can be a headache and you have to order new hardware or deal with the cowl being incorrectly fastened.
Cowl delete filters are a great addition to your E9x or E8x chassis; these filters allow you to get rid of clutter in the engine bay which adds benefits like weight reduction, improved air flow in the engine bay, more room for working on the engine and an overall cleaner engine bay appearance. We all know it is important to keep up on engine maintenance to keep your BMW running at peak performance and prevent larger future issues. When we can eliminate any roadblocks or additional work preventing us for performing engine maintenance this could make it less daunting to go change spark plugs, coil packs or simple filters.

These aluminum pedals were designed with one thing in mind -- performance. We wanted a pedal set that gave us the grip EXACTLY where we wanted it: MASSIVE GRIP on the brake and clutch pedals, and far less grip on the accelerator to allow the right foot to better slide/move during heal-toe braking. This set surpasses all others in this area, giving your BMW's foot operated controls a more tactile feel and response. The brake and clutch pedals feature pyramid shaped spikes, which actually BITE the soles of your shoes PERFECTLY, creating the ultimate (and unbeatable) friction surface.
These pedals are 100% MADE IN THE USA, and are CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminum billet to perfectly fit your BMW. There's no rubber to wear out, and no cosmetic finishes to chip or flake off. Stainless steel hardware is included, as well as a basic installation guide (professional installation always recommended). These pedals are for left-hand drive (LHD), manual transmission BMWs only (including SMG and DCT sequential manual gearboxes -- on these cars, you will only use one of the included clutch/brake sized pedals). Please note on E36 convertible models (1994-1999) the optional footrest requires modification.

For dozens of years, enthusiasts have critiqued the imprecise and vague feeling of BMW manual transmissions. Plagued with long throws, fore and aft play in gear, and a generally loose feeling, your OEM BMW shifter leaves much to be desired. While most standard carrier-mount short throw shifter kits will aid in reducing throw length and eliminating side-to-side play in gear, some enthusiasts long for a hardcore, race-inspired shifter that completely removes play and excessive throw length. At Turner Motorsport we share the same desire and set out to offer the ULTIMATE upgrade with this Performance Chassis Mount Short Shifter.
WHY UPGRADE?
Factory BMW shifter assemblies are complex by nature. The main component of this assembly is the shift carrier, a cast aluminum piece positioned inside the transmission tunnel that incorporates bushings at both ends for mounting. Like most factory parts, these bushings are designed to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) transmission to the cabin. To the spirited driver, however, these bushings translate to flex and vagueness in the shift lever. Moreover, because this carrier is mounted to both the transmission and the body, the entire shifter assembly will "float" with the driveline, further increasing the vague and imprecise feeling of your shifter.
Our Performance Chassis Mount Short Shifter removes the shift carrier assembly entirely—removing any prospect of flex caused by bushings or driveline movement. By contrast, this chassis mount shifter offers a drastic reduction in shift lever travel, vagueness, and side-to-side play. An elevated base allows for moving the fulcrum point upwards, resulting in a much shorter and more precise throw. Shift times are further reduced by a tall, "rally style" shift lever, used to aid in leverage while also bringing the lever closer to the steering wheel. Our design incorporates a proprietary centering spring design, which is adjustable for increasing or decreasing self-centering force. In short, this design eliminates all the drawbacks of your factory BMW shifter, translating to more control, greater precision, shorter throws, and faster shift times.

It's hard to put into words just how effective harnesses are in improving your driving experience. In addition to the obvious safety benefits, harnesses make you a better driver by removing distractions so your hands and feet are used for car control instead of bracing against a door panel or dead pedal. Everyone with harnesses will agree: they are a must-have upgrade to your driving experience and they wish they had installed them sooner.
The Schroth Quick Fit Pro tuning harnesses are the most advanced 4-point safety belt on the market. They are perfect for daily street or dual-duty street-track use. Quick Fit Pro harnesses mount with the existing female belt receptacles and the reinforced seat belt anchor points in the chassis. By using the standard receptacles the vehicle's SRS system remains active, adjusting airbag deployment and tensioner response accordingly. Other harnesses that do not clip into the stock belt recepacles may not integrate with the SRS with potentially harmful results. On factory BMW systems the SRS also employs a pyrotechnic charge that automatically tightens the belt in anticipation of a crash. All Schroth harnesses feature their asm technology that prevents your body from sliding under the lap belt and redces head and chest deceleration forces. Schroth has revolutionized the racing and tuning harness industry which is why you will find their safety belts on everything from rally cars to military helicopters.
Quick Fit and Quick Fit Pro harnesses are vehicle-specific with the correct anchor points and seat belt clips included. The main harness is easily un-clipped and removed from the car with almost no trace left behind. Quick Fit and Quick Fit Pro use different latch types with the Pro being compatible with a HANS device and a slightly better and safer overall design. All Schroth Quick Fit harnesses are TUV approved and meet US DOT seatbelt regulations.
Optional: Schroth Grips. Schroth harness grips slide into the ends of your Schroth harnesses and give your fingers something to lock onto when tightening the harness. Otherwise, your hand - or glove - has to yank on the end of the strap which might be slippery. Sold per harness for both shoulder and both lap belts (4 Grips total).
Seat Compatability: Schroth approves this harness only for stock seats or seats that have passed independent crash testing. The seat design must have a separate headrest and backrest. Single piece headrest and backrest (e.g. - F8X M3/M4 seats, Porsche 911 seats) are not approved because the shoulder straps fall to the sides and will not secure the driver properly. Observe all guidelines and instructions for installation and fitment.

The Rallye 4 harness fits most BMWs better than a Rallye 3 type thanks to its four mounting points that bolt to four existing anchor points in the BMW chassis: outboard lap belt anchor on B-pillar, inboard lap belt anchor on seat, and both rear seat belt anchors. The Rallye harnesses are a fixed, semi-permanent install but a quick-connect buckle is included in the rear seat harness so that the front and rear sections can be separated and tucked away when not in use. This also allows you to use the stock 3-point seatbelts in the front and rear seats without obstruction. All Schroth harnesses feature their asm technology that prevents your body from sliding under the lap belt and redces head and chest deceleration forces. Rallye belts are not side-specific; they fit either the Left or Right side of the vehicle.
