BMW Suspension Parts for BMW E90 M3 S65 4.0L

These M3 rear guide rod arms are an upgrade for the non-M cars. The stock non-M arms are made from sheetmetal spot welded together at the ends. The arm tends to flex and bend under even moderate cornering loads. Factor in gripper tires and more torque and this arm is inadequate for stability and consistent handling. The M3 arms are one piece of aluminum offering greater strength and with a sealed monoball inner bushing that allows the arm to rotate (instead of twisting).

This package includes:

• Left M3 Guide Rod - 33322283547
• Right M3 Guide Rod - 33322283548

These SPL Parts rear adjustable toe arms replace OEM Part number 33322283549

SPL Parts is a performance suspension manufacturer that designs and tests their products all in-house here in the USA. Additionally, all materials used are sourced from American suppliers to ensure consistently high quality products. SPL Parts products are all constructed using chromoly seamless straight tubing, DOM mandrel bent tubing, and 6061 and 2024 aluminum for high strength and quality. All TIG welding and CNC machining is also done locally by professional welders and machine shops to meet exact quality standards and tolerance specifications. For anything from racing to street driven needs, SPL Parts offer an amazing line of premium quality products that are perfect to get your car back in spec.

When lowering your vehicle, toe alignment is thrown off. These SPL adjustable toe arms offer a wide range of toe adjustment and are a significant improvement over stock, eliminating suspension deflection and increasing handling response thanks to the FK Bushings rod ends that are Teflon lined. In addition, this kit includes Eccentric lockout components. This guarantees that your toe alignment won't slip under aggressive driving due to an eccentric bolt.

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

• 52% stiffer than the factory E90/E92 M3 bar. 42% stiffer than the E93 M3 bar!
• 27mm straight across (not a tapered center like the E93 M3 factory bar)
• Solid core, not hollow like the stock bars (better at resisting twist)
• Forged, non-adjustable steel ends
• Highest tensile steel strength available

The H&R for the E9X M3 is the best anti-roll bar option for the E9X M3. Don't be let down by the "small" size compared to the factory sway bar sizes - there are some big differences! We've had our in-house suspension engineers run the math and the H&R swaybar is over 52% stiffer than the factory E90/E92 M3 bar and even over 42% stiffer than the E93 M3 sway bar upgrade. There are several reasons for this - the stock sway bars are hollow (for lighter weight) and will twist more than the solid H&R bar. Also, the E93 M3 bar is often called a 28mm bar but it actually tapers down in the center to 24mm which greatly reduces its effectiveness. So if you're looking for a serious sway bar upgrade, the H&R is clearly the way to go. Note: to maintain the handling balance of the car, we recommend only using the front bar with the matching H&R rear bar or heavily revised racing suspension.
