Knock down the roadblocks preventing you from performing regular maintenance on your BMW. On the E9x and E8x chassis you run into issues with changing the rear spark plugs and coil packs. A job that should take approximately an hour or so ends up taking significantly longer because you have to remove the cowl and all associated screws. Most of the time the screws end up missing or dropped into your engine bay which can be a headache and you have to order new hardware or deal with the cowl being incorrectly fastened.
Cowl delete filters are a great addition to your E9x or E8x chassis; these filters allow you to get rid of clutter in the engine bay which adds benefits like weight reduction, improved air flow in the engine bay, more room for working on the engine and an overall cleaner engine bay appearance. We all know it is important to keep up on engine maintenance to keep your BMW running at peak performance and prevent larger future issues. When we can eliminate any roadblocks or additional work preventing us for performing engine maintenance this could make it less daunting to go change spark plugs, coil packs or simple filters.

BMW's newest TwinPower Turbo engine oil is LL01 FE+ certified. It meets BMW's standards for LongLife 2001 ("LL01") and improved fuel economy ("FE+"). The new 0W30 replaces the previous 5W30 oil used in some 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and V8 BMW models. This is a Genuine BMW Upper Idler Pulley, also known as the roller pulley or deflection pulley. The upper and lower idler pulleys are known to be the primary sources for 'belt squealing'. The pulley is also encased in rubber which will crack over time. If left without service the rubber could fail completely, chucking the belt and leaving you stranded. A well-known issue with the N54 with Hydraulic power steering is the plastic pulley either hitting the subframe, or breaking on its own. This can result in the belt to be ejected from the pulley, and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. This also increases the chance of sucking the belt into the engine through the front seal. Put an end to the dreaded plastic PS pulley issues with the VTT 100% Billet Aluminum PS pulley. These are constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize in one of 4 colors (Black, Red, Blue, and Clear) for a great look, and long-lasting finish. These weigh 11oz, very close to the weight of a stock pulley, and are lighter than the cast aluminum versions on the market.
