Due to weak plastic construction, the factory plastic crankcase ventilation breather hose is known to fail. After years of exposure to piping-hot engine bay temperatures and chemical-laden oil vapors, the corrugated plastic tubing can crack, crumble, or fail altogether.

We set out to bulletproof your N52 CCV system with a durable silicone breather hose, designed to provide a comprehensive upgrade and permanent replacement for the factory plastic hose. By replacing the flimsy, heat-hardened OEM plastic hose with a four-ply fluorosilicone hose, you'll experience peace of mind knowing your N52 is free from the inevitable return of oil leaks, vacuum leaks, and drivability concerns that would have been.

This breather hose is found at the front of the engine, and is used to connect the oil separator to the valve cover. It replaces OEM part number 11157522931.

We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology, including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.

At Turner, all our Carbon Fiber Intake Systems are top-of-the-line custom-engineered products that we develop in house. Our Turner S65 Carbon Intake is a monster that perfectly compliments the high revving 4.0l V8 engine. Add in a full carbon plenum and you have a recipe for greatness! The intake benefits start right at the motor; the plenum offers a larger interior volume and full carbon design which helps boast the intoxicating roar. Directly connected to the plenum is a full carbon intake tube with a substantially larger cross sectional area with smooth transitions which results in more airflow available to the engine in high demand scenarios. The inlet tube mounts securely to the full carbon heat shield and is mounted in factory airbox locations while retaining the factory cold air induction tract from the hood. Housed inside the heat shield is a behemoth cone filter to ensure proper filtration and maximize airflow. Turner's S65 intake and plenum is designed with air flow and induction in mind. The intake flows like no other; during testing, the Turner intake outperformed the flow-bench at over 750CFM, a massive improvement over the factory intake.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Turner S65 Intake System was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team at Turner. Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing. Performance data metrics are collected utilizing Mustang AWD 500 SE in ground dyno and in-house Superflow SF-750 Flowbench.

In an effort to design products that are more appealing to the daily driver we engineered these Delrin protection plates based on our own experience with bumper & splitter damage on our own M3's. The aggressive design of the E9x M3 bumper makes it virtually impossible to not have contact at some point of the bumper, from parking curbs to slight inclines making your bumper or carbon splitters look ugly. 

We decided to use Delrin with our design due to its durable features, the hardness of Delrin will reduce the amount of visible scratches on the surface and giving extra support under high speed driving conditions. Our protection plates are offered to cover both carbon splitters and the bare bumper with an exact fitment and slightly aggressive option for both situations.

By popular demand, our shoe-gripping Turner Motorsport pedal set is now available for E82 1 series and E9X 3 series with automatic transmission. These pedal covers feature pyramid shaped spikes on the brake pedal, which actually BITE the soles of your shoes PERFECTLY, creating the ultimate (and unbeatable) friction surface where you want it. The throttle pedal is left smooth, so that your foot can roll on and off the gas smoothly. The automatic transmission set includes 2 pieces -- one brake pedal and one throttle/gas pedal.

Our pedals are anodized for a beautiful cosmetic finish that resists chips and flaking. Stainless steel hardware is included, as well as a basic installation guide (professional installation always recommended). These pedals are for left-hand drive (LHD), automatic transmission BMWs only (sequential manual transmission cars should use the manual transmission set).

Also available in black anodized! The same shoe-gripping performance as our standard "naked" aluminum racing pedals, but with an added black anodized coating, for a stealth black finish. We always recommend the naked metal pedals for harsher/race type use, as all cosmetic finishes will eventually degrade over time. But for those looking for the black-out look, we can now accommodate! There are a few reason having a catch can is an upgrade for a vehicle, from a separator system that no longer works to one that was never there. Modern day emissions regulations require the use of a closed crankcase ventilation (PCV) system to recirculate combustion blow-by gases from the crankcase back in to the intake to be burned.  Unfortunately, these blow by gases contain water vapor (which is a byproduct of combustion) and pick up oil mist from and the windage cloud and cam lubrication system as they travel through the crank case.  Due to less than 100% effective air/oil separation in the stock PCV system, some oil mist and water vapor gets carried back to the intake tract and over time cause oil deposits and carbon buildup in the intake manifold, intake ports, and on the back of intake valves.  All will eventually lead to poor performance and reduced fuel economy, and the presence oil mist can in the intake charge even increase the risk of engine damaging detonation. 

With direct injected engines this problem becomes more prevalent, and the N54 in your 135i or 335i is no exception.  We're seeing a lot of N54 powered cars with drivability and performance issues due to significant carbon buildup in the intake ports and backs of intake valves.  The “factory fix” is a walnut blasting service that commonly needs performed every 30,000 to 70,000 miles.  Don't be part of this statistic!  Our shop recommends an oil catch can be installed in-line in the PCV system to help reduce the build-up of performance robbing deposits and greatly reduce the need for costly walnut blasting service and related repairs in the future.

​ The catch can utilizes a strategically designed 4 chamber baffle plate system engineered to create multiple changes in the direction of airflow to cause oil droplets to fall out of suspension, maximizing the efficiency of the PCV air/oil separation.  A dipstick is integrated into the cap so you can monitor the oil level, and the can is easily serviced.  At each oil change simply unscrew the canister and empty the trapped oil with your regular used oil.  The Turner Motorsport Oil Catch Can is CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and with a stealthy black anodized finish for lasting durability and appearance, and includes everything needed for an OEM-like fully reversible installation. Another feature the Turner catch can has is the ability to add on a drain kit so you no longer have to fumble around getting the fill can out of a tight space. The drain can be run down to the belly pan of your car so draining can be done at the same time you change your oil or anytime in between.

If you own an M57-equipped BMW, you already know this twin-turbo diesel powerplant is an absolute torque monster. What you might also know is that all that low-end grunt and high-compression diesel vibration wreaks absolute havoc on your accessory drive system.

From the factory, both the E90 335d and E70 X5 35d utilize a rigid alternator pulley. With each cylinder's fire, the crankshaft experiences a violent micro-acceleration. Because the alternator has a heavy internal rotor spinning at high speeds, it wants to keep spinning at a constant rate. When the engine suddenly slows down (even minutely between firing cycles), the alternator fights the belt. This constant tug-of-war results in extreme stress on your engine's belt-driven components. At best, it’s an annoying, unrefined chirp at idle; at worst, it’s a ticking time bomb for your expensive harmonic balancer.

To solve this issue, many enthusiasts choose to run a clutched alternator pulley (also called an overrunning alternator pulley). A clutched pulley allows the alternator to "freewheel" or coast when the engine slows down, completely isolating its rotational inertia from the belt drive to prevent component wear. While the N52's clutched pulley (12317560483) is a straight bolt-on, the offset is incorrect for the E90 335d's accessory drive. Thankfully, our engineers designed this zinc-coated spacer to provide the precise amount of spacing needed to perfectly align the new pulley with existing belt drive components.
