Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time! If you re-use the original mounts you have the risk of them failing before your next shock replacement, doubling your labor costs.

Upgrade Your Ride with Powerflex Subframe Bushings Subframe bushings are the unsung heroes that keep your subframe snugly attached to the chassis of your ride. The stock rubber bushings that come with your car are a bit of a compromise. They aim to give you a smooth, comfy ride while still providing some decent handling. But here's where Powerflex steps in with their polyurethane subframe bushings. These babies are a bit firmer than your run-of-the-mill OEM bushings. What does that mean for you? Well, it translates to better handling, a more solid rear end (not what you're thinking), and a suspension that can flex its muscles without ruining your smooth ride. Powerflex is the go-to suspension bushing champ over in Europe. They know their stuff when it comes to polyurethane, and their high-tech manufacturing game is on point. They're all about making performance bushings that fit your ride like a glove. Plus, these are built to last longer than your typical rubber bushings while giving your BMW E9X 3 Series performance a kick in the rear (in a good way). Now, here's a pro tip for you: when you're installing these bad boys, it's a good idea to have some Powerflex Copper Grease PCG1 on hand. It'll make your life easier during the installation process. A bit of reapplication of that grease can keep those squeaks at bay and make your bushings last longer. So, what's the deal with different flavors of bushings, you ask? Well, if your ride is mainly hitting the streets with the occasional autocross or track day thrown in for fun, the Powerflex street bushings are your jam. But if you're building a track monster, then feast your eyes on the Powerflex Black Series. These beasts are 25% stiffer than the street version, ready to handle the extremes of track and race conditions. And here's the cherry on top: Powerflex stands by its products. They're so confident that they offer a lifetime warranty to the original buyer on all their gear. That's some serious peace of mind right there. So, whether you're looking to improve your ride's handling, reduce those squeaks, or amp up your track beast, Powerflex subframe bushings are the way to go. Your ride will thank you for it, and you'll be grinning behind the wheel. OE / OEM Cross Reference Numbers: 33316768645

The Powerflex Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings (26.5mm) for the BMW E9X 3 Series and BMW X1 xDrive are performance-oriented replacements designed to enhance the function and lifespan of the factory sway bar bushings. Here’s an in-depth description of these bushings: Durable Polyurethane Material: Constructed from high-quality polyurethane, these bushings are far more resistant to wear and environmental factors like oil, heat, and road debris compared to traditional rubber bushings. This ensures long-lasting performance and reduced maintenance over time. Perfect Fit for 26.5mm Sway Bar: Specifically designed for vehicles with a 26.5mm sway bar diameter, these bushings provide a precise fit, allowing for optimal sway bar performance. The snug fit prevents excessive movement of the sway bar, leading to better control and stability during driving. Enhanced Handling and Body Control: By stiffening the connection between the sway bar and the vehicle’s chassis, these bushings help reduce body roll and improve handling. Drivers will experience sharper, more responsive cornering and a more confident feel during quick direction changes. Improved Steering Response: The stiffer polyurethane material ensures that the sway bar reacts more immediately to steering inputs, reducing the lag and sloppiness that can be caused by worn rubber bushings. This results in more precise and predictable handling, especially during spirited driving or on twisty roads. Resistant to Deformation: Unlike rubber bushings, which can crack, shrink, or soften over time, Powerflex polyurethane bushings are engineered to maintain their shape and performance even after prolonged exposure to stress and environmental conditions. This makes them ideal for both street and performance applications. Balanced Performance and Comfort: Powerflex designs their sway bar bushings to deliver performance gains without overly compromising ride comfort. While firmer than rubber, these bushings are optimized to limit increases in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), making them suitable for both daily driving and more aggressive driving scenarios. Direct OEM Replacement: These bushings are a direct replacement for the front sway bar bushings on the BMW E9X 3 Series and BMW X1 xDrive models, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. No modifications or additional hardware are needed, ensuring a smooth fitment process. Ideal for Performance Upgrades: Whether you’re looking to improve your vehicle’s handling for street driving or track use, these sway bar bushings offer enhanced performance, greater sway bar effectiveness, and increased durability, making them an essential upgrade for enthusiasts. In conclusion, the Powerflex 26.5mm Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings for the BMW E9X 3 Series and X1 xDrive are an ideal solution for those seeking improved handling, greater durability, and a more connected driving experience. These bushings deliver performance upgrades while maintaining comfort for everyday driving.

The E82 and E90/E92 subframes have an inherent weakness in the rear subframe - the mounts are too soft for the power and torque these cars are capable of. The subframe is the heart of a BMW's rear suspension. As torque is transmitted through the differential and axles and as the tires grip the road, the subframe mounts are working to keeping everything in line. That's a tough task to hold when torque is increased with bigger boost (335i) or even mild tweaks (M3). While the M3 subframe mounts are a great upgrade for the non-M chassis these factory BMW Motorsport subframe mounts go one step further.

These Motorsport/Group N rear subframe bushings are a direct replacement upgrade over the stock mounts. They are rubber to conform to the rules of the Group N racing class - so they are still acceptable for street use as long as extra ride harshness can be tolerated. The rear subframe has to come down from the car for these mounts to be pressed in. So now is the perfect time to do other work as well - check out our other Motorsport Race bushings or M3 upgrades.

Price is for the set of 4 mounts.

For BMW E9X 3 Series and X1 xDrive owners seeking to optimize their vehicle's performance, the 26.5mm Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings emerge as a valuable enhancement. In this article, we delve into the multiple advantages of incorporating these bushings, which promise to elevate your driving experience to the next level. Enhanced Stability and Control: The BMW E9X 3 Series and X1 xDrive already boast impressive handling, but the installation of 26.5mm Front Sway Bar Mounting Bushings significantly enhances stability and control. By minimizing body roll during turns, these bushings deliver confidence and responsiveness when navigating sharp corners and bends. Precision in Cornering: These sway bar mounting bushings are prized for their ability to fine-tune your vehicle's cornering performance. With their 26.5mm diameter, they provide increased rigidity, resulting in more precise and controlled cornering. Whether you're tackling serpentine mountain roads or pushing your car on the racetrack, you'll enjoy heightened grip and command. This optimization leads to better balance and control, ensuring that your BMW responds precisely to your commands. Longevity and Robustness: Constructed from high-quality materials, these bushings are built to withstand the demands of daily driving and spirited performance. By minimizing wear and tear on your suspension components, they contribute to the extended lifespan of your BMW's sway bar system and related parts. Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

To get the most out of your new suspension setup, it's recommended that you replace all parts that are known to fail. Not only will this make your new setup more effective, it will provide a better ride, proper tire position, and make all of your parts last longer. One often overlooked piece is the upper strut bearing and mount. This is the top mount for your struts and provides a solid platform for your front suspension. If worn, the bearings within this mount make noise, there is slop from worn rubber, and it can shorten the life of your shocks. These replacements from Genuine BMW is the perfect solution for worn mounts/bearings. Because they are factory OE parts, they fit perfectly in the mounting location and are the proper length and have the correct inside diameter for your struts. A small addition to any front suspension overhaul that can make a huge difference in overall ride quality. Priced each, but should always be replaced in pairs. Passenger (Right)

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence.

034Motorsport is pleased to present Billet Aluminum Rear Subframe Mount Inserts for E9X BMW models! E9X BMWs use rubber rear subframe mounts which deflect under load, causing the rear end to feel vague and loose, as well as leading to less-than-optimal suspension geometry and increased understeer. These precision-machined billet aluminum inserts are designed to fill voids in the factory rear subframe mounts, and limit subframe movement without sacrificing ride quality or introducing any perceivable additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin. The result is a more refined, connected driving experience, as well as improved effectiveness of aftermarket rear sway bar upgrades and suspension components.

These bushings replace the stock rubber bushings and offer a better driving feel, increased lifespan, and better wheel alignment.

Rubber bushing allow for a lot more movement and are more susceptible to wear and tear from spirited driving and harsh weather conditions. Polyurethane is much more resistant to wear and is stiffer, reducing the total amount of movement that would normally affect the alignment negatively.

Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings.

Revshift polyurethane subframe bushings completely replace the OEM rubber bushings on the BMW E82, E81, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92, and E93, including the M3, 1M, and XI models. These bushings securely mount the rear subframe, reducing wheel hop and improving the vehicle's handling capabilities. The two-piece bushing design sandwiches the subframe, locking it in place. It will not shift on the bushings while driving, like the one-piece designs allow. They are entirely made at Revshift in the USA from our proprietary polyurethane formula and CNC-machined billet aluminum cores.

As your vehicle ages, rubber components begin to break down, allowing excess movement in the components that require a firm mounting point the most. If your rear end feels loose, or wanders over bumps, your rear trailing arm bushings may be to blame.

If the control arm bushings on your vehicle are beginning to fail, it will become quickly apparent. Suspension noise will be drastically increased, there will be steering wheel shake when hitting road hazards, and the entire car will have an all around loose feel. This can also lead to premature tire failure as alignment is negatively affected. Replace your control arm bushings to give your entire suspension a tighter feel.
