BMW Suspension Bushings & Mounts for BMW 3 Series E91 (2006-2012)

Clear BMW chassis

Please ensure your correct model is selected

Suspension mounts are designed to absorb the energy of the shocks and springs and isolate road harshness from the chassis. But over time the original rubber mounts will crumble and fail. We have stock mounts and bushings as well as a wide selection of upgraded and heavier-duty for performance street cars. We also offer a full selection of race only bushings and mounts. Simply choose your car below. Included here you will find rear shock tower mounts, front strut mounts, subframe mounts, lower control arm bushings, rear trailing arm bushings, and more.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Revshift polyurethane subframe bushings completely replace the OEM rubber bushings on the BMW E82, E81, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92, and E93, including the M3, 1M, and XI models. These bushings securely mount the rear subframe, reducing wheel hop and improving the vehicle's handling capabilities. The two-piece bushing design sandwiches the subframe, locking it in place. It will not shift on the bushings while driving, like the one-piece designs allow. They are entirely made at Revshift in the USA from our proprietary polyurethane formula and CNC-machined billet aluminum cores.

These are the factory BMW Motorsport Group N high performance front upper control arm bushings. These heavy duty rubber bushings are stiffer than the stock bushings to improve steering feel and improve handling. They are great for track use - and Grand Am Cup legal! - yet can also be used on a street driven car - please note these will not be as compliant as the stock rubber bushings. These are for the control arm with the ball joint pointing down, sometimes referred to as the thrust arm or tension strut.

Price is for the pair of bushings.

Made in the USAIf you're installing racing rear shocks with a spherical bearing end you will need this adapter mount for the top of the rear shock. Spherical or rod-end bearings are common on race shocks but they are somewhat universal and mounts are not usually included. We designed and engineered these mounts for our E9X M3 and E90 328i IMSA/CTSCC racecars. Our cacing upper shock mount is machined out of aircraft grade aluminum with a tough anodize finish and high grade hardware. Due to the wide variety of spherical bearings and rod-ends found on race shocks, the bushing kit is sold seperately (see chart for bushing sizes).

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. The Powerflex silicone grease is the only lubricant we suggest for long, squeak free operation. The lubricant contains silicone that resists heat and water and keeps a more constant viscosity to allow it to stay in the bushing as temperatures increase. The lubricant also does not lose it's lubrication properties over time like an anti-seize type lubricant. Each pack will lube 2 large bushings or 4 small.
