This fluid helps reduce friction and prevent premature wear from metal-on-metal contact. To maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your transfer case, we recommend draining and refilling the fluid approximately every 60,000 miles.

Rein OE Quality Automatic Transmission Service kits address the short-lived valve body sealing sleeves and adapter in the ZF 6HP transmissions. This kit includes the necessary direct-fitting sealing hardware to conveniently service the shrunken valve body sealing sleeves during the recommended fluid and filter change interval of 62,000 miles / 8 years at the latest. The ZF 6HP19Z series transmission is a very durable and powerful unit that can last for many miles if serviced in time to allow the valve body to maintain proper fluid pressure. The slightest drop in valve body fluid pressure in this unit leads to premature transmission bushing and or clutch wear, along with contamination and overheating of the fluid. Rein recommends the OE or Pentosin ATF-1 synthetic automatic transmission fluid for this job.

Kit Includes: Automatic transmission filter Oil Pan Gasket & Installation Hardware Drain plug with sealing washer Fill plug with sealing washer 7 Liters of Genuine BMW ATF 3+ Fluid NOTE: Depending on the model, an additional liter of fluid may be necessary if you are draining your oil cooler or removing the valve body. As per ZF's recommendations, Turner Motorsport suggests performing a full service on your 8HP automatic transmission every 50,000 miles. If your vehicle is modified and makes more power than stock or if your vehicle is regularly track-driven, we recommend shorter 30,000-mile service intervals. This will ensure your transmission's fluid is free from contamination which will help extend the life of internal transmission components like clutch packs and solenoids.
