40mm Lug Bolt Kit - Set Of 10 is designed to provide a secure and reliable fit for wheels equipped with spacers. These longer lug bolts are essential for accommodating 10mm and 12mm spacers, ensuring proper wheel alignment and safety. Constructed from durable steel with a black zinc coating, these bolts feature an OEM-style cone seat for a precise fit. It’s important to verify the correct thread size for your specific application using the general application guide provided on the product page.

• Durable Steel Construction: Ensures long-lasting performance and strength.
• OEM-Style Cone Seat: Provides a precise fit for optimal wheel alignment.
• 40mm Length: Ideal for use with 10mm and 12mm spacers.
• Black Zinc Coating: Offers enhanced corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance.
• Set of 10: Provides enough bolts for a complete wheel installation.

Enhance wheel replacement efficiency on your BMW with a stud conversion kit, facilitating quicker and easier wheel changes. This comprehensive kit includes:

• Conical Seat Lug Nuts (20)
• 75mm Wheel Studs (20)

The installation of these studs provides a permanent wheel-hanging solution, saving time and reducing hassle during wheel changes. By simply screwing in the supplied studs, you'll be ready to go.

Benefits of using wheel studs instead of wheel bolts:

• Some racing regulations mandate wheel studs for enhanced wheel-to-hub contact, ensuring added safety.
• Wheel studs accommodate various spacer widths, eliminating the need for custom bolt lengths when using spacers.
• Simplifies wheel installation; the studs act as wheel hangers while nuts secure the wheel in place.
• Reduces wear on wheel hubs as wheel studs remain in the hub, unlike constantly removed and installed wheel bolts.
• Facilitates quick and easy tire changes as wheel studs stay in place.

Note: Use thread-locking compound during installation and torque studs to 15Nm for optimal performance.

Upgrade your BMW's wheel system with this stud conversion kit for improved convenience and functionality.

Drastically improve the looks of your vehicle while improving your vehicle's handling characteristics and/or easily adjust your wheel fitment to allow for the proper clearance when installing parts such as new wheels, big brake kits, or lowering suspension components.Interference from components such as shocks, springs, or control arms are a common issue when installing wheel that are not a direct OE size replacement. By moving your wheels a few millimeters each, you can give yourself enough clearance for proper wheel fitment and give your car a wider stance in the process.

ECS Tuning wheel spacers are constructed of high quality 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and are specifically designed by in-house engineers and cnc machined to exact standards, ensuring the best fitment possible. By carefully measuring the OEM wheel hubs and bore dimensions, these spacers mount with minimal clearance to prevent any vibration, retaining the stock-like vibration free operation.

This kit includes wheel bolts that are lab tested to meet or exceed ISO 898 class 10.9 mechanical and physical properties to ensure perfect fastening of the wheel to the hub with no issues or potential to snap under aggressive driving conditions.

Unsure of what size spacer will work best for you? This professional kit includes 1mm, 2.5mm, 5mm, 10mm, and 15mm spacers with wheel studs and nuts for you play with. These are not the same spacers that we sell and they cannot be used to drive on. But with the studs installed the car can be lowered to the ground and rolled to check for clearances. These test fit spacers are drilled to fit the standard BMW 5x120 bolt pattern as well as 4-lug 4x100 (and VW/Audi bolt patterns too). You can stack spacers to achieve the perfect clearance. When you're ready call us to order the spacers you need (Turner spacers come in 3mm, 5mm, 7.5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm spacer thicknesses).

These spacers are not for driving on. They lack the hubcentric lip that BMW wheels are designed to work with. Driving on studs alone will lead to a failure.

Two ways to buy -

• Own. Just as it says, you buy this kit to own. Perfect for shops or race teams that change wheels or brake components often. For shops you can measure wheel clearance and order the correct spacers the first time around (no wasting inventory or paying return shipping). Note: Kits purchased to Own are not returnable for refunds.
• Rent. Pay the full price but get $110 as a store credit when you return the kit. We keep a modest $19.95 fee for the service. Perfect for DIY and enthusiasts who only need the Test Kit once. Use your store credit to purchase your spacers (or anything else from our catalog).
