This weighted shift knob makes shifts faster and the extra-large globe shape encourages over-palm shifting. The Black Forest Industries Billet Knob weighs in at 8.8oz (250g), about twice as much as a stock knob and a little heaver than the BMW ZHP knob. The heavier knob amplifies the pendulum motion of the shift lever resulting in smoother and faster shift times. BFI has designed this knob for BMW and VW fitments to fit snug on the shift lever and be secured with Allen set screws. They were careful to reduce tolerances compared to universal knobs. The overall height of the BFI knob is the same as stock anatomic knobs (some BMW M/Performance models have a stock knob that is shorter than this one).
Included with the BFI Billet knob is a matching BFI crest shift emblem. A 5 or 6-speed pattern emblem is available separately.

The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust systems for the BMW F22/23 M240i are the result of the perfect integration of expertise, the best technology, and the use of the finest materials. This Akrapovic Evolution exhaust improves upon the stock exhaust system of the BMW M240i in numerous areas. The first visible improvement is the additional power of 6.5 HP (at 5500 rpm) and 12.6 Nm (at 3000 rpm). The range between 2.000 rpm and 3.500 rpm was particularly improved. A noticeable improvement can also be observed at high RPM where the Evolution gives more power. This sporty elegance makes this Bavarian machine stand out from the rest and offers the taste of a more powerful version, accentuated with the additional power gains and weight losses of the Evolution system. The dual-mode ECU-controlled valve exhaust from Akrapovic offers stock-level sound at normal cruising, and a joyful deep sporty note when driving the M240i more dynamically. The Evolution systems replace the stock exhaust from the catalytic converters back.
