VTT is proud to offer its very own Game Changer S55/N55 to B58 Coil conversion kit for the BMW S55/N55 platforms. The 55 series of engines has notoriously had ignition problems with the factory coils, while aftermarket upgrades do exist, they can be bulky. The solution is the BMW B58 ignition coils which are extremely robust and can support well over 1000WHP with no issues. This means a plug-and-play affordable solution that fits like stock, and looks AMAZING doing so! We designed our own 6061-T6 Billet bracket in a plethora of colors including matching shades for every S55/N55 Valve Cover. This means you can mix and match the color of the bracket with coil color, with VC color to truly tailor your engine bay to look exactly how you want it to! The kit comes with the following: 3 – Billet Aluminum Coil Brackets in the color of choice 6 – Plug and play VTT wiring harnesses 6 – Custom VTT stalks to convert the B58 coils to the S55/N55 head (We ensure proper spring length inside the boot for optimal spring-to-plug contact) *NOTE: Flash setting changes may be required when installing the conversion kit to ensure the proper function of the B58 coils with S55/N55 DME. Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.

Introducing Vargas Turbo's B58 Gen 1 Billet Valve cover. VTT created these for the B58 owner who wants to add a great look to their engine bay while also getting rid of the stock plastic valve cover which has problematic PCV systems and can crack with higher mileage. Vargas Turbo Technologies recommends running it with their B58 engine catch can kit (See listing options). VTT offers a number of breather choices for extra crankcase venting including our billet oil cap breather, as well as their one-way Stainless breathers.

The camshaft position sensor communicates the position of the camshaft to the computer. This helps the computer to calculate proper spark and fuel control. If you're struggling with CELs, hard starts or no starts, stalling, and/or a rough idle, you may need to replace the cam position sensor.

Ignition coils are key to the efficiency and performance of your BMW. With a faulty coil, the spark plug is not burning the air/fuel mixture properly, and that can lead to problems anywhere in the engine and exhaust (including catalytic converters and O2 sensors). Problems with one or more coils will cause a fault code, but not always a check engine light. A misfire code may be related to an ignition coil, but could be from other things as well. Sometimes, a visual inspection of a coil and coil boot will give an indication of a failure. You can also move coils around to different cylinder banks to see if the misfire code follows a suspect coil. We suggest always having one or two coils on hand to keep as spares.

This is the crankshaft position sensor. It provides information for the ECU. A faulty sensor can cause issues with timing adjustment and limit performance and vehicle operation. Replace your sensor with a high-quality Hitachi sensor to restore peak performance.
