Supersprint has developed this rear muffler for the M235i that fits in place of the stock muffler and gives a more sporty and aggressive exhaust note (when combined with the Supersprint section 2 pipes). Supersprint builds their exhausts from the muffler-forward and tunes each section along the way. They're not just adjusting sound levels and tone but also backpressure and flow. The goal is to achieve power and torque gains in concert with a pleasing sound. This M235i muffler uses 4 80mm exhaust tips to give the back end a more Motorsport theme (like an M3/M4). The stock bumper and valence will require trimming to clear.

With larger 76mm piping and a Supersprint resonator tuned for the rest of the exhaust, this section flows better than the original. This tuned resonator section replaces the factory resonator and works with the Supersprint muffler for a new, more aggressive, but still tame, exhaust note. The resonator is tuned along with the rest of the exhaust to give a more sporty sound than the factory M235i resonator but still meet European noise regulations. If you want more sound after this, there is a resonator-delete pipe available as well.
