The inclusion of adjustable end links offers numerous advantages, including drivetrain clearance and preload adjustment. When using lowering springs, coilover suspension, or certain air ride systems, changes in ride height frequently result in alterations to the center-to-center distance between the upper and lower mounting points of a sway bar link. Installing a link of original length under these circumstances can introduce preload to the sway bar, negatively impacting suspension and handling. By installing an adjustable sway bar end link in a neutral position, you can eliminate sway bar preload, ensuring proper handling in a variety of driving scenarios.
