AutoTecknic was established in 2000 and has since become one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of carbon fiber parts and accessories for a wide variety of manufacturers. Autoteknic's sleek dry carbon door handles not only look great but are thin allowing a flush fitment. 3M tape will be provided to ensure that they stay in place even after continuous usage. The surface is coated with a high gloss clear coat and the underlying carbon fiber overlay is laid on with meticulous care thus ensuring that each dry carbon door handle you receive are uniform and breathes the same quality as your BMW straight from the factory. Dry carbon fiber's name also comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold, and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means that there are fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets that form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Set includes inserts for left and right sides. *For Vehicles with Ambient Light
