MMR's high-flow charge pipe kit includes everything needed to improve the performance, reliability, and aesthetics of your N55-powered F-Chassis BMW. Smooth bore pipework improves airflow over stock and due to reducing deformation of the hoses under load or vacuum, the MMR charge pipes also improve throttle response and power output. Increased boost pressure can cause the stock pipework to split or crack and cause drivability issues. MMR's charge pipes are made of lightweight aluminum which fit right in place of OEM charge pipes. For the intake side. Includes a 1/8” bung for easy addition of either methanol or water injection. On turbocharged motors, the intake piping is put under constant pressure while the engine is running, and has to hold that pressure without leaking. Unfortunately the smallest amount of damage or defect on the intake hoses and the pressure can cause a leak, leaving you without proper boost pressure. Replace your leaking pressure pipe and stop loosing boost.
