One often overlooked piece is the upper strut bearing and mount. This is the top mount for your struts and provides a solid platform for your front suspension. If worn, the bearings within this mount make noise, there is slop from worn rubber, and it can shorten the life of your shocks. To get the most out of your new suspension setup, it's recommended that you replace all parts that are known to fail. Not only will this make your new setup more effective, it will provide a better ride, proper tire position, and make all of your parts last longer.

Sway bar end links connect the swaybar to the rest of the suspension, preventing body roll and keeping everything in line in tight turns. This exposes these links to a high amount of stress and pressure, often leading to split bushings and sloppy body control and knocking noises. Replacement OEM Lemforder front Right sway bar link for F22 and F3X models. There's not much to fail on a sway bar but the ball joints on the sway bar links can be a weak spot. The ball joint becomes loose over time as the internal ball wears out. You end up with a clicking or light clunking sound on the front suspension, especially going over bumps. This is the Left/Driver's side link. Fits both RWD and AWD models.

Control arms are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Raises front of the rear subframe giving additional anti-squat similar to the M range. For standard subframe location use PFR5-420. Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver. Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings. When control arm bushings begin to fail suspension noise and steering vibrations increase. The vehicle will become unstable when cornering and difficult to drive under normal conditions. This leads to premature tire wear caused by misalignment and places stress on other suspension components reducing there overall service life. New control arm bushings will drastically increase the vehicles handling and help to prevent damage to other suspension components.

Opting for aftermarket front sway bar bushings featuring an increased diameter of 23.6 mm for your BMW F3X can yield numerous advantages, notably elevating the handling and overall performance of your vehicle. Conversely, sticking with OEM front sway bar bushings will result in restricted performance in terms of F3X handling, a shorter lifespan for the bushings, and accelerated wear and tear. Furthermore, OEM bushings will cause more noticeable swaying during cornering when compared to their aftermarket counterparts. By selecting PowerFlex Black Series front sway bar bushings, you can anticipate the following benefits: Minimized Body Roll Enhanced Cornering Stability Improved Steering Response Enhanced Traction Prolonged Lifespan For cross-referencing with OE/OEM parts, the relevant numbers are: 31356792138.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings. Nearly every car manufactured in the modern era carries a dark secret – fully-adjustable suspension has been all but eliminated in the name of cost-cutting and assembly-line efficiency. What this means for you is increased tire wear and more frequent replacement, as a “full alignment” consists only of rudimentary toe-angle adjustment. For over forty years, K-MAC has been hard at work developing a solution to this problem with patented innovations in camber/caster plates and bushing kits, allowing easy adjustment and a true “full four-wheel alignment” to be performed by any competent shop. These bushings make camber adjustments possible for the first time, and improve the ability to complete toe angle adjustments. When used in conjunction with the K-MAC Camber and Toe kit and Rear Adjustable Trailing Arms allows full adjustability of the 5 multi-link rear arms and positive location. Bolt-on installation – insertion/extraction tube included! Easily adjusted on the car with basic hand tools Unique failsafe locking hardware – set & forget! Location: Front
Type: Street/Track, Stage 2
Upper spring perch: OEM-size, 60mm, and 2.5" included
Bearings: urethane OEM-type center bushing; lubricated radial thrust bearing on spring perch

KMAC camber/caster plates use a patented adjustment method designed for easy and rapid alignment adjustments. The KMAC design has a 'floating' inner camber plate, rather than slotted, to allow camber and caster to be adjusted together. To adjust, simply loosen the top three nuts on the strut tower and position the KMAC mount to match your desired alignment settings. The KMAC design allows more camber and caster adjustment because separate caster hardware is eliminated. While primarily designed to increase negative camber for track use these can also be used to fix alignment issues that cause uneven tire wear or unwanted handling behavior.

KMAC camber kits are the most complete kits on the market, with all of the common spring perch options and strut hardware included. The OEM size spring perch as well as 60mm and 2.5" spring isolators are included which makes it easy to upgrade from stock struts to coil overs without having to buy new camber plates. Or swap springs on your coil overs between 60mm and 2.5" without buying additional upper perches. Also included are the most common strut pin hardware - 14mm lower bearing adapters and 12x1.5, 12x1.75, and 14x1.5 top nuts. This takes the guesswork out of ordering the correct hardware for your strut type. The urethane main bushing is also replaceable and the camber plate parts are made from 7075-grade aluminum for a lifetime of camber plate use.

Fitment Note 1: replaces factory BMW strut mount with 3 mounting bolts (up to 12/2014 prodution). Not for cars with 5-bolt strut mounts.

Fitment Note 2: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The proper stacked height and clearances are required. K-MAC includes bearing adapters, spacers, and various top nuts but it is still the responsibility of the installer to ensure a correct and safe fitment. Basic instructions are included but professional installation is required. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.
