BMW Sway Bar Kits for BMW 4 Series F36 (2015+)

The next step in tuning your car's handling - after shocks/springs and camber plates - should be a set of swaybars. Using larger front and rear sway bars will give your car better/quicker turn-in and less bodyroll in corners. These bars replace the existing sway bars on the car for a clean and simple upgrade with very little downside. Sway bars should be matched with your springs/shocks to maintain a proper handling balance. In some cases only a front or rear bar is needed to positively change the balance and make the car more neutral. We sell sway bar kits from H&R, Racing Dynamics, OE BMW upgrades, and even some of our own designs. Swaybars are sold with new bushings. New links and other hardware are strongly recommended.

The sway bar on your vehicle is essentially a connection between the left and right lower control arms. When you take a corner in your vehicle, the sway bars flex and rebound like a spring. If the sway bar links are broken or worn, the system doesn't work as it should. Replace your end links and get all the performance characteristics back. New end links help you take turns better with less body roll. Some symptoms of failure are loose cornering, knocking noises, and a sloppy feeling when hitting bumps. The sway bar in your vehicle links both lower control arms. During cornering, the inner wheel tends to roll under, but the sway bar acts as a spring to prevent this. A critical part of this system is the sway bar bushings. If they become soft or worn, energy transfer is compromised due to excessive sway bar flex or bushing movement. To maintain tight and responsive handling, it’s essential to replace the bushings.
