One of the tricks for getting your F8x M3 or M4 to handle better is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will put more of the tire's width in contact with the ground during cornering. With more rubber, there is more grip. BMWs typically have less camber in the front to create understeer, but if you're running a stock setup on the track or autocross, you are giving up speed and time as the front tires run out of grip sooner than they should. The ECS Rear Damping Extension Kit solves that problem with a clean and functional solution. These flexible extensions relocate the adjustment knobs to an easily accessible point above the rear shock towers, letting you dial in your suspension from inside the cabin, no disassembly required.

Installation is straightforward: simply drill a small access hole in your interior trim and route the extension cables through. The adjustment knobs can be removed to allow the line to pass through smaller openings, minimizing cutting. For proper installation, be sure to fully loosen the set screw, insert the cable, then securely tighten it using the provided Allen key.

Designed specifically for your chassis these ECS lowering springs feature a linear style spring similar to a coilover. The issue with coilovers is the rough ride due to a drastic drop and much higher spring rates. When you have a higher spring rate like coilovers, it takes much more force to compress the spring, leading to a much more rigid ride. ECS lowering springs provide a happy medium between the factory suspension and coilover suspension. Our springs are stiffer than factory but softer than a coilover spring to achieve the balance of increased performance and aesthetics while retaining a comfortable ride.

The stock Genuine BMW rear toe links (33322284534) are great for standard daily driving and occasional spirited driving, but they tend to fall flat on the track due to the soft rubber bushings causing excess deflection, creating undesirable handling characteristics, not to mention insufficient adjustability. Turner's new Performance Rear Toe Links increase stability and response by eliminating bushing deflection while providing an increased range of rear toe adjustment, necessary for lowered cars or for performance alignments. Even small changes to ride height and camber will effect toe settings, and the wide range of adjustment allows you to maximize grip on a track car and extend tire life on a street car. The factory rear toe arms utilize an eccentric bolt and washer for adjustment and lack precision and range. These toe links feature gun drilled 2024 Aluminum center links, clamps, and clevises, along with a 360-degree rotating clamp system. This combination provides superior strength, performance, durability, and ease of adjustment. No annoying jam nuts! A simple 3/16" Allen-key is all that is required to lock down your alignment settings. Best if tightened to 73.7 ft. lbs. (100 N/M). DO NOT OVERTORQUE! ECS is not liable for any issues due to overtorque. FK Spherical Rod Ends are utilized to reduce alignment change in the rear suspension under hard cornering, acceleration, and braking. They feature a Teflon liner to provide quiet operation, low friction, smooth articulation, and eliminate bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race, offering a very high load carrying capacity and greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. When dismantling a suspension strut sometimes the securing nut can be difficult to access and the central strut itself needs to be held still while the nut is undone. This new Shock Absorber Tool Kit is designed to overcome these problems and make the job quick and easy.

The go-through design of the sockets and ratchet design allows the strut lock extensions to go right through the middle of the ratchet and socket. Five different strut lock extensions are included, to fit a variety of applications. Seven go-through deep sockets (16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22 and 24mm) are included, plus a sliding T-bar.

Once the spring is compressed and the top plate is free, simply choose the correct strut lock extension and socket. Then fit the socket and the ratchet handle, and fit the strut lock straight through. The central strut is held steady, and the securing nut is quickly removed.
