BMW Performance Clutch Kits & Parts for BMW F82 M4 S55 3.0L

Clear BMW chassis

These heavy-duty clutch kits use aluminum lightweight flywheels with sport clutch components to give your clutch the grip and clamping force it needs to cope with high torque upgrades. Our kits were developed through racing programs by companies affiliated with our own race team - JB Racing, Sachs Sport, OS Giken, and UUC Motorwerks. JB Racing is the leader in aluminum lightweight flywheel upgrades. They are direct replacements for the stock dual-mass flywheels with steel contact surfaces and computer balanced to 14,000 RPM. JB has partnered with Sachs to spec sport/HD clutch discs and pressure plates that work seamlessly with their aluminum flywheels. The result is a clutch/flywheel upgrade package that functions a lot like the original clutch combo with near-stock levels of effort and engangement but with a much higher torque capacity. Don't let the clutch be your weak link in a highly tuned car!

This clutch alignment tool allows for the installation of the clutch kit on your 6-Speed Manual N55 BMW. Tools is used while assembling the pressure plate to center your clutch disc on the flywheel. This tool does not work with the DCT dual clutch, just 6MT transmissions. NOTE: this tool is only for use with N55 engines. There is a tool for N54 and N55, but this one just works for N55.

This is the stock twin mass flywheel for the F80 M3, F82 M4, F83 M4 and F87 M2. Sachs recommends a new dual mass flywheel (DMF) on every other clutch replacement. There are several indicators for replacing the flywheel: damage to the clutch contact plate (from a severely worn clutch disc), grease leaking from inside (overheating), build-up of clutch material on the contact plate (excessive slipping and overheating), and failure of the internal damping system.
