From the factory, all BMW models are equipped with soft rubber or fluid-filled engine mounts. While these mounts perform well at isolating drivetrain vibrations, they are prone to degradation and allow for significant drivetrain movement. This often results in a loose-feeling driveline, missed shifts, and a generally disconnected driving feel.
To address these issues, We have developed a performance alternative. Constructed from 6061 Billet Aluminum, these mounts are built to last. Here at Turner Motorsport, we CAD design everything in house - our N55 engine covers are no exception. While designing our N55 carbon intake, we were unimpressed with the factory plastic beauty cover and wanted to give F30 335i owners an option that looked great with our intake and also exposed more of the engine's cold side. We did this to give your bay more of a performance aesthetic, taking cues from previous forced induction BMWs (I'm looking at you, N54). Ignition coils are key to the efficiency and performance of your BMW. With a faulty coil the spark plug is not burning the air/fuel mixture properly and that can lead to problems anywhere in the engine and exhaust (including catalytic converters and O2 sensors). Problems with one or more coils will cause a fault code but not always a check engine light. A misfire code may be related to an ignition coil but could be from other things as well. Sometimes a visual inspection of a coil and coil boot will give an indication of a failure. You can also move coils around to different cylinder banks to see if the misfire code follows a suspect coil. We suggest always having one or two coils on hand to keep as spares.
This is the current replacement for some BMW 6 and 8-cylinder engines built in the late 2000s and after. BMW has made numerous changes to ignition coil part numbers in recent years but has approved this part number to work in the vehicles listed below. It's listed as a replacement coil for N20, N55, and S55 engines. In March 2015 BMW approved it for N51/N52 engines. This part number replaces the previous BMW part number 12137594937 for the cars listed below.

Dinan Iridium Spark Plugs are an excellent upgrade for tuned, and even stock engines, where applicable.* Our spark plugs are made from Iridium - one of the strongest materials available. They last longer than other materials with higher melting points, run cooler, resist preignition, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. The iridium electrode with its copper core is harder and stronger than other materials, can dissipate heat more easily, and is better protected from melting, cracking, and other limitations found with standard plugs. Dinan spark plugs are great for high boost, high cylinder pressure, high cylinder temperatures, and high-power situations, and they pair nicely with a set of Dinan ignition coils, where applicable. MMR's Low Temp Oil Thermostat is one of the easiest ways to increase your oil cooling capability. Rated to maintain the oil temps at about 194F (90c) to 230F (110c). Anyone with a modified N55/S55 knows the risks involved with the OEM Crank Hub. When the engine simply can't handle the stresses its put under or the design is such that it simply does not support extreme conditions, issues can arise. Under certain conditions, the N55/S55 crank hub likes to spin, without warning and even when the engine is in perfect health. MMR has produced a EN36 machined billet one-piece crank hub heat treated with a 0.75mm case hardening which makes it extremely durable.
