The exhaust downpipe for the F90 M5, F91/92/93 M8, and F95/96 X5/X6 M models has a two-piece design. The upper downpipe with the primary catalytic converter is connected to the longer, lower downpipe section. This connection is sealed by this gasket ring, which should be replaced anytime the downpipe is pulled apart or whenever an exhaust leak is found. Replaces BMW # 18327856835

Each time you remove your exhaust manifold, the gaskets need replaced. If you attempt to reuse them, they can leak and fail, causing noise and exhaust heat to fill your engine compartment. Pick up some new nuts and anti-seize to make the replacement job easier. Quantity of four required for re-installation.
