The DW65v bridges the gap for a fuel pump that seamlessly fits like stock while delivering the necessary flow capacity to support the potent power capabilities of the 1.8t engine. Prior solutions were limited to pumps with power restrictions or complex installations.
Part of the esteemed DW65 pump series, which includes the DW65c and DW65a, the "v" version boasts an impressive 265lph flow rate, making it capable of supporting up to 500hp. The DW65 series is renowned for its specialty fitment, ensuring a 100% drop-in fit for applications that deviate from standard fuel pump sizing. The DW65v maintains the factory pump's pickup points and utilizes a system mirroring stock configurations to ensure consistent fuel levels, effectively eliminating fuel starvation concerns during low fuel conditions or high-speed cornering. Our kit is entirely plug-and-play with the factory vehicle harness. No cutting or splicing of OEM wiring/connectors. It installs in minutes and can be removed without a trace on the car!
Our team used SolidWorks to design a Flow Optimized Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter (FFSA) to ensure fuel flow is unobstructed and with no added pressure drop at full fuel pump flow from the fuel tank to your motor when our kit is installed. This is important when pushing the factory fuel system with all the power Ethanol can provide over petrol!
Flex fuel sensor housing is designed to neatly install into the factory BMW fuel hat location.
Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter also contains two 1/8 NPT ports that allow installation of an auxiliary Fuel Pressure sensor for vehicles that don’t come with an OEM one from the factory for future use. Depending on fitment, either port can be used.
