Free ground shipping! The factory M5/M6 exhaust system is very wide open with a minimal of restrictions - except for the catalytic converters. The factory ceramic cat is the biggest restriction so any exhaust work to gain more power is going to have to involve replacing it with something freer-flowing. Supersprint's downpipe incorporates a high-flow HJS 200-cell metallic cat that flows considerably more than the stock ceramic part. This cat downpipe is for the left bank.

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

These Supersprint straight pipes connect to their Downpipes in the first section of the exhaust system. They are full stainless steel and mandrel bent pipes for optimized exhaust flow. These do not have any resonator so they are typically used with the Downpipe sport cats although they could be used with the cat-less Downpipes for a much louder and more muscular sound.

The Supersprint Crossover Pipe will delete the rear resonator ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonator, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. It's a direct install with Supersprint mufflers but any other set of mufflers may require custom professional installation to achieve a perfect fit.

Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. These Supersprint resonators are for both banks of the exhaust (left and right). They are full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. Supersprint's tubular stainless headers for the X5 4.8 N62 engine replace the very restrictive stock manifolds and cats. With less restriction creating better flow, and relocating the catalytic converters, Supersprint has been able to gain an additional 21hp and 38ft-lbs of torque. They've even patented their tubular header and collector design. These are a direct bolt on to the N62 engine and are designed to be used with the Supersprint metallic sport cats or as a cat-less system (straight pipes). Other pieces are recommended or required.

If stock exhaust volume does not live up to your expectations and you want a lot more turbo-6 sound to get to the cabin, this Supersprint 'Racing' muffler may just what you want. By using a smaller muffler body and more straight-through exhaust flow, more sound can be extracted from the very quiet turbocharged engine. Most of Supersprint's mufflers are designed to meet European noise levels which leaves some room to make them louder for the North American market but without being obnoxiously loud. This muffler converts the X3 to the 'dual exhaust' look with two tips on each side (bumper modification required). This gives a more muscular appearance and makes the X3 more like its bigger X5/X6 siblings. Note: tips are sold separately, choose from 80mm or 90mm tip styles below.
