The intake boot is a regular issue especially for BMW's, nearly all vehicles have a boot manufactured from rubber with an accordion section in the design for flexibility. This flexible section is typically where the failure comes from, leading to vacuum leak engine codes, rough idle, and increase fuel consumption.

Turner Carbon Fiber Intakes start with a 3D scan of the factory intake and engine bay. Our engineers use these 3D images of the chassis to design the intake in SolidWorks modeling software. Using a Flow Bench, our Intake is then airflow tested against the factory intake, to ensure optimal airflow improvement against stock. The final product is a beautiful and functional Carbon Fiber Intake, CAD designed for perfect integration with the OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations and proven to flow better than factory.

Our Turner S65 Carbon Intake is a monster that perfectly compliments the high revving 4.0l V8 engine. The intake benefits start right at the motor; directly connected to the plenum is a full carbon intake tube with a substantially larger cross sectional area with smooth transitions which results in more airflow available to the engine in high demand scenarios. No more slow starts! Does your car feel old? Age may not be the issue at all, your throttle cable bushings are mostly likely worn out and your car has lost its pep!

Your throttle cable is the main connection you have from the gas pedal to the throttle body. Do you have hesitation or delayed pedal response? Think of when you are sitting at a stop light or making a turn into a flow of traffic, you may not realize it but if you haven't replaced your throttle cable and bushings this will require you to apply pressure to the gas pedal before getting feedback which can cause slow starts at stop lights and put you in danger when merging in traffic. The TMS E36/Z3 6cyl Intake Tube Plug is intended to be used in a variety of applications ranging from ASC delete, deleting the idle control valve in a car with a aftermarket engine management system, re-routing the PCV hose to a catch can, aftermarket supercharged engines, or simply plugging one of the hose provisions in the E36 6cyl intake tubes. It also works great as a coolant hose plug. The diameter of the tip is 20mm (just over 3/4"). A low profile Oetker compression clamp is included. The plug can be drilled and tapped for a small air temp/water temp sensor, pre throttle body vacuum/boost/MAP sensor barb, or water alcohol/nitrous/methanol injector or barb. Works with M50, M50TU S52, M52, S52 throttle boots and may work in other applications with a 20mm hose.
