FITMENT NOTE: For G-Chassis models (G20, G22), the cutoff build date of 08/2020 is important as cars produced after that date have a downpipe with different bracket locations. Cars with a build date of 08/2020 and earlier have the brackets in a V configuration and will need Active Autowerke p/n 11-065. Cars with a build date of 09/2020 and later have the brackets in a straight line and require Active Autowerke p/n 11-065G. If your car was built in the cutover months 08/2020 and 09/2020, please call in or email us your VIN so we can ensure you get the correct downpipe.

The factory 35i exhaust system is pretty wide open with a minimal of restrictions - except for the catalytic converter. The factory cat is the biggest restriction so any exhaust work to gain more power is going to have to involve replacing it with something freer-flowing. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

The factory turbocharger turbine housing utilizes a V-Band flange which has been duplicated and CNC machined cut out of billet 304 stainless steel. Stainless Steel CNC machined O2 sensor and laser cut brackets are TIG welded using stainless steel rods. The O2 sensor remains positioned at the factory location. This awesome Mach Force XP Down Pipe produces 14 horsepower and 39 lbs. x ft. of torque at 1900 RPM. The Mach Force XP down pipe is constructed of mandrel bent, brushed 304 stainless steel tubing and flanges and uses all factory mounting locations. Using a unique resonance chamber to capture sound waves and minimize exhaust "drone", this system produces an aggressive tone on throttle but a smooth sound at cruising speeds without affecting performance. This down pipe is 100% TIG-Welded. Note: this product will activate the check engine light.
