The Powerflex Front Sway Bar Bushing for the BMW E36 3 Series (1990-1998), specifically designed for a 28mm sway bar, is an essential upgrade for enhancing the vehicle's performance and handling characteristics. By substituting the factory rubber bushings with high-quality polyurethane, this bushing delivers multiple advantages that improve driving dynamics.
Improved Cornering Stability: The firmer polyurethane construction reduces flex in the sway bar, which significantly minimizes body roll during cornering. This enhancement leads to better traction and stability, allowing drivers to navigate turns with more confidence and control.
Durable Performance: Powerflex bushings are engineered to withstand the rigors of daily driving and high-performance situations. They resist wear from heat, oil, and road debris, providing longer-lasting performance compared to traditional rubber bushings, which can degrade over time.
Enhanced Road Feedback: The upgraded material provides better feedback to the driver, resulting in improved steering precision and a more connected feel to the road. This enhancement allows drivers to respond more effectively to changes in the driving environment, contributing to an engaging driving experience.
Direct Replacement for Easy Installation: Designed specifically for the E36 3 Series with a 28mm sway bar, these bushings are a direct fit into the factory mounts. This ensures a straightforward installation process without the need for modifications or special tools.
Versatile for Various Driving Conditions: Whether for daily commuting or spirited driving on the track, these bushings enhance the overall performance of the front suspension. They help optimize suspension geometry, improving tire contact and overall handling capabilities.
This upgrade is perfect for BMW E36 3 Series owners looking to boost their vehicle’s handling and overall performance. The Powerflex Front Sway Bar Bushing for the 28mm sway bar is a reliable choice that improves the effectiveness of the front suspension system, making it suitable for a wide range of driving styles and conditions.
Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.
Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Factory bushings are more than adequate for street driving on the E46 M3. However, once the miles start to pile up, the bushings are meant to be replaced. Common side effects of worn factory FCABs include, but are not limited to the following:
Replacing with new factory bushings will return the factory feel. These urethane core bushings, however, offer something MORE. These bushings are designed to deliver performance that surpasses the stock E46 M3 bushing, while still allowing them to be used in everyday driving scenarios on public roads.
With the numerous delrin/urethane/hybrid replacement bushings in the market, we wanted to offer bushings that were not only effective, but simple. No clips, no washers, no multiple sleeves, and no "race parts in street cars". They have an aluminum outer sleeve with a replaceable, compliant urethane core that is serviceable and rebuildable. These urethane inserts prevent unwanted control arm deflection, while allowing noise/vibration/harshness (NVH) isolation -- a must on any bushing being used on a street driven car. And because of their compliance they remain very comfortable for daily use. But because they are a heavier-duty design than stock, these eliminate steering shimmy and wander, especially with the addition of big brake upgrades. They maintain BMW's original suspension geometry, and give your M3 a directly "connected" feeling with the front end of the vehicle. Perhaps best of all, these bushings are easy to install and are designed for longevity. Professional installation on suspension components is always recommended.

For a BMW X3 (2003-2010), if you're looking for front anti-roll bar bushings with a 22.5mm diameter, one well-regarded aftermarket option is Powerflex. Powerflex specializes in high-quality polyurethane bushings, which are more durable than traditional rubber bushings. These bushings help improve handling by reducing unwanted flex in the suspension components.
Here’s what you should consider when getting Powerflex bushings for your BMW X3:
Material: Powerflex bushings are made from polyurethane, which offers better resistance to wear, deformation, and harsh conditions compared to OEM rubber.
Fitment: Ensure that the 22.5mm size matches the diameter of your front anti-roll bar for your specific BMW X3 variant. This size typically fits certain versions of the 2003-2010 X3 models, but it’s always good to double-check with your specific vehicle's specifications.
Improved Handling: Replacing your worn-out bushings with Powerflex ones can result in sharper handling and less body roll, especially during cornering.
These bushings are typically sold as a kit with two bushings (one for each side of the anti-roll bar), and installation may require some mechanical experience or a professional.

he Powerflex Front Radius Arm Bushings for the BMW G80 M3 / G82, G83 M4 are performance upgrades designed to replace the factory rubber bushings with durable polyurethane ones. Here's a simplified description:
These bushings are a direct fit for the BMW G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4 and are ideal for drivers looking for improved performance with minimal changes to ride comfort.
The Powerflex Rear Diff Mount Bushing for the BMW E21 offers a robust solution to support and stabilize the differential, replacing the standard rubber bushings with durable polyurethane. This upgrade minimizes unwanted differential movement, enhancing driving dynamics and responsiveness.
These bushings are popular among E21 owners who want a durable, performance-oriented solution that balances comfort and handling precision. Ideal for both spirited driving and daily use.
Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.
Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.
