High oil temps are one of the triggers that causes the engine electronics to curtail boost, cut power, and possibly switch to limp mode. The stock oil system was not designed with enough cushion for running more boost. We have seen limp modes come from stock vehicles on the race track. New air ducts and vents into the wheel well help improve air flow. PTFE hoses with race-quality fittings and all hardware are included for install.
