Headers should be part of any M20 performance project or restoration. These Supersprint tubular headers are a larger diameter and have better flow than the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and they make more power. And since the stock headers are known to be brittle and can crack over time these make for an excellent upgrade replacement.
This header system mimics the stock exhaust after the header collectors. It uses the same 3-bolt flange as the original center resonator. This makes them a direct swap from the stock manifolds and downpipes and an easy fitment with the stock exhaust. Supersprint also makes a center resonator section and rear mufflers to build a complete system.

Supersprint builds their exhausts from the muffler-forward and tunes each section along the way. They're not just adjusting sound levels and tone but also backpressure and flow. The goal is to achieve power and torque gains in concert with a pleasing sound. This M235i muffler uses 4 80mm exhaust tips to give the back end a more Motorsport theme (like an M3/M4). The stock bumper and valence will require trimming to clear.

Supersprint's rear muffler for the 535i produces a pleasing but not intrusive exhaust sound. This muffler is considered a street upgrade system with only a modest increase in volume to give a hint of added performance without being obnoxious or annoying. This is a great muffler for altering the exhaust note without drawing attention to yourself. You can also add additional Supersprint sections to better tune the exhaust to your preferances. The Supersprint Crossover Pipe will delete the rear resonator ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonator, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. It's a direct install with Supersprint mufflers but any other set of mufflers may require custom professional installation to achieve a perfect fit.

Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. These Supersprint resonators are for both banks of the exhaust (left and right). They are full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. The Supersprint resonators have been tuned to work with the rest of their exhaust.

The E60 535i got a little short-changed in the exhaust and looks department. From the rear, there is no evidence of the twin-turbo power that lies beneath. The 335 had dual exhaust; the later F10 535i had dual pipes too. But the 2007-2010 E60 535i exhaust looks just like any plain Jane 525i from the rear. Supersprint has developed two solutions to E60 owners who want that muscular dual output exhaust look. This muffler has an extra Power Loop outlet running behind the stock bumper and finished off with dual 80mm round tips on both sides. There are two ways to implement the right side tips - cutting into the stock bumper or installing a full E60 M5 rear bumper. Each Supersprint exhaust is different to match the bumper you use. Once lined up it's clear where the stock bumper needs to be modified. And if done professionally can appear as though it came from the factory.

The Supersprint 'Race' rear muffler system is one step beyond the standard Sport mufflers. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Race' mufflers are designed for street use and the name only distinguishes it from the quieter standard Sport system. With the stock system the sound is very subdued. With the 'Race' mufflers the sound is much more noticeable and more aggressive - a perfect sound to compliment the assertive nature of an M Coupe or Roadster. You will hear this exhaust but it will not be intrusive or sound out of place on a civilized sports/GT car like the MZ4. The Supersprint center pipes to delete the rear resonators for more volume can be a welcome addition.

Supersprint Racing mufflers are a lighter, louder version of their tuned street performance mufflers. Where the performance muffler must meet European noise regulations the Racing mufflers do not. This allows you to have more volume and zing to your exhaust system. Supersprint has tuned these mufflers to be aggressive but not excessively loud; just loud enough that you know they're in place. Single 90mm tips per side fill out the exhaust outlets nicely and give more definition to the rear end. Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. This Supersprint resonator is for the right side of section 1 of the exhaust. It is full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. The Supersprint resonator has been tuned to work with the rest of their exhaust.

The Supersprint Crossover Pipe will delete the rear resonator ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonator, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. It's a direct install with Supersprint mufflers but any other set of mufflers may require custom professional installation to achieve a perfect fit.
