Developed In-House – Designed, tested, and inspected at our Wadsworth, Ohio facility using FARO ARM laser scanning, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, and rigorous long-term validation.
2.5" T304 Stainless Steel Tubing – CNC mandrel-bent with a brushed finish and 1.25mm wall thickness for maximum strength, flow, and corrosion resistance.
Straight-Through Turbo-Style Muffler – In-house engineered with a perforated core and stainless steel wool packing. Aggressive sound under throttle, refined tones at cruise.
Adjustable Dual 3.5" Tips – 10mm of vertical adjustment for a perfect rear valance fit.
TIG-Welded & Back-Purged – Meticulously assembled for long-term durability and an art-like finish.

When crafting the ECS exhaust systems, their primary focus is on achieving the perfect balance of sound and comfort. ECS's understand the desire for a thrilling exhaust note without the annoyance of highway drone or interior vibrations. The exhaust for your 135 incorporates this balance, offering a strageic blend of sportiness and practicality. Drawing from their extensive experience, particularly with N55 cars like the E9x series, they have engineered an exhaust packed with innovative features, compatible with both factory and aftermarket downpipes. There is something about a cat-back exhaust that is just so good. Being able to unbolt and replace the entire visible exhaust gives you butterflies in your stomach. A fresh new exhaust and just knowing that things are about to get rowdy. This exhaust features twin 2.5" brushed pipes with flanges that bolt directly to your factory and aftermarket down-pipes. The dual 2.5" mid-pipes make their way toward the rear axle and converge into a single 3" exhaust section. The 3" exhaust section snakes through the rear section of the car making smooth dips and curves to make its way into a light-weight 3" turbo style muffler. Don't be fooled by the 135 muffler, the size is nothing but deceiving. The turbo-style muffler features an inner design that refines the exhaust note to perfection. An extraordinary mixture of both tone and volume. Paired with the 3" muffler is your choice of 3.5" exhaust tips that give your rear diffuser a sporty look that shouts performance.

Although both N54 and N55 share identical exhaust geometry, the N55 mid-pipes do not feature secondaries. Though the N55 cat-back is compatible with N54 downpipes this is not suggested. Supposedly this N55 catback sounds absolutely glorious on an N54, even with aftermarket downpipes.
