Standard features of Supertech Pistons include contact reduction grooves and meticulously honed and reamed pin bores, ensuring a precise fit. The wrist pins are constructed from cold-extruded chrome moly steel, guaranteeing exceptional strength and are secured with wire clip locks.
To further enhance performance and longevity, these pistons receive a 'phosphate dry lubricant' coating. This coating not only safeguards the rings against 'micro-welding' but also improves lubrication in the skirt/cylinder area.
Supertech Pistons are designed to work with a .030" head gasket and .010" deck, with compression ratios calculated accordingly. Please note that rings are sold separately.
