Enhance your BMW's performance with our premium control arm upgrade kit from Turner Motorsport! This kit provides a significant handling upgrade without sacrificing ride quality. Perfect for enthusiasts looking to replace their factory control arms with sturdier, high-performance alternatives, this kit features stiffer bushings and ball joints for improved precision.
Key Benefits:
Improved Handling: Experience more precise and responsive steering, giving your BMW a sportier feel. Increased Durability: Our control arms are much sturdier than factory units, ensuring long-lasting performance. Negative Camber Adjustment: Adds approximately 0.75 degrees of negative camber to the front, enhancing cornering grip and stability. Complete Kit: Includes all four M3-specific lower control arms with mounting hardware. M3 Headlight Leveling Rod: Necessary for proper installation, ensuring your headlights are correctly aligned. Important Note for Z4 Models: For Z4 owners, please be aware that the M3 headlight level sensor rod is positioned differently. Anytime that you replace your front control arms (which should be often), you must replace your control arm bushings. The reason is because it's hard to tell if you're bushings are really bad and they are often destroyed when removed. These bushings have the hole in the center and came standard on the 318i/325i.
For convenience, we carry the steel bushing carrier brackets (part# TSU9995PB3) with new hardware which will save you downtime caused by pressing out the old bushings and pressing in the new bushings.
This item fits the following BMWs:
1984-1991 E30 BMW 318i 318is 318ic 325e 325es 325i 325ic 325is

The front control arm bushings is the Achilles heel on the E39 models. The original factory bushings are fluid filled and rely on the fluid to absorb vibration and resist deflection. When the fluid is gone the rubber left over cannot match the original bushing's strength. The left over rubber is not stiff enough to resist the movements from the suspension. The result is a lot of vibration and reduced feedback and response from the steering.
Meyle has addressed this issue with bushings that are not fluid-filled. The bushing is made of solid rubber that will last longer than the original bushing and is a bit stiffer than new originals for better response and feel. The lack of play from the solid rubber design will mean sharper steering, restoring much of the car's precision and 'connected' feel.
This control arm comes with the Meyle HD bushings already pressed in. This makes for an easy swap out-swap in install. These arms replace the existing stock upper control arms - otherwise known as a tension strut or strut support arm. It's the arm with the twist.
Meyle is a German brand in business since 1958 and all of their products are TUV approved and meet or exceed ISO standards. All Meyle HD parts come with a 4-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
Features:
4 Year Warranty
All metal ball joints are more reliable and longer lasting than stock
Bushings are solid rubber rather than fluid filled, providing longevity and handling feel improvements

Control arms, and their integrated ball joints, are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.
This control arm is an aftermarket OEM alternative part that comes with a 1-year warranty. They use the same designs as the original BMW parts on your car so they meet OEM standards for fitment and operation. We have compared these parts to the Genuine BMW and OEM brands and found few differences. This package is an unbeatable money-saving bundle to restore your E34's precise handling and steering. We also offer all of the OE or OEM brands if you are more comfortable with those levels of quality and performance or are planning to track or autocross your car (the cast components of the aftermarket kit will not be as good as the OEM parts on the track).
The aftermarket arm has the bushing pre-installed. The OEM and BMW arms include the bushing but it must be pressed into the arm by a qualified technician.
This item fits the following BMWs:
1989-1995 E34 BMW 525i 530i 535i 540i (Sedan and Touring)
