The factory 35i exhaust system is pretty wide open with a minimal of restrictions - except for the catalytic converter. The factory cat is the biggest restriction so any exhaust work to gain more power is going to have to involve replacing it with something freer-flowing. Supersprint's downpipe incorporates a high-flow HJS 200-cell metallic cat that flows considerably more than the stock ceramic part.

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

The Evolution Racewerks Competition Series Catless Downpipes is constructed from 304 stainless steel, featuring mandrel bent piping.  These are 100% TIG welded by in house fabricators and built in the USA! 

The factory turbocharger turbine housing utilizes a V-Band flange which has been duplicated and CNC machined cut out of billet 304 stainless steel. Stainless Steel CNC machined O2 sensor and laser cut brackets are TIG welded using stainless steel rods. The O2 sensor remains positioned at the factory location. Also, since Evolution Racewerks uses a larger 4.5" pipe right after the turbocharger, turbo backpressure is significantly reduced, resulting in less exhaust turbulence and backpressure which again improves throttle response and decreasing turbo lag.

This plug is a replacement for the following models: 10901020A, 10901020B, 10901020C, 10901020D, 10301050, 10101020 and any other VRSF chargepipe that utilizes a water injection bung. This awesome Mach Force XP Down Pipe produces 14 horsepower and 39 lbs. x ft. of torque at 1900 RPM. The Mach Force XP down pipe is constructed of mandrel bent, brushed 304 stainless steel tubing and flanges and uses all factory mounting locations. Using a unique resonance chamber to capture sound waves and minimize exhaust "drone", this system produces an aggressive tone on throttle but a smooth sound at cruising speeds without affecting performance.
