Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

034Motorsport is pleased to present Billet Aluminum Rear Subframe Mount Inserts for E9X BMW models! E9X BMWs use rubber rear subframe mounts which deflect under load, causing the rear end to feel vague and loose, as well as leading to less-than-optimal suspension geometry and increased understeer. These precision-machined billet aluminum inserts are designed to fill voids in the factory rear subframe mounts, and limit subframe movement without sacrificing ride quality or introducing any perceivable additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin. The result is a more refined, connected driving experience, as well as improved effectiveness of aftermarket rear sway bar upgrades and suspension components.

Raises front of the rear subframe giving additional anti-squat similar to the M range. For standard subframe location use PFR5-420. Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver. Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings. Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Fall Line’s mono ball spherical bearing conversion kit transforms the front steering and suspension feel of the M2. The factory rubber bushing is very large, and is prone to substantial deflection under load, as the M2 is put through its paces. Deflection of the bushing can create unwanted geometry change, steering wobble under braking, and even hysteresis of the thrust arm. The bearing’s housing is precision machine from aluminum, to create a rigid part that allows for the M2’s thrust arm to move smoothly through its range of suspension travel. The improvement in steering and suspension feel is immediate and truly enhances the personality of the M2.

If you're experiencing a "loose" feeling when going around corners, these are the likely culprit. The rear bushings on these cars will wear out just like any other bushing. When this happens, the rear toe (the angle that the tire points in or out) will vary under load. These M3 bushings are more durable than the stock bushings and hold up better than the original bushings. These rear trailing arm bushings (often referred to as RTAB) are listed as the replacement to BMW part numbers 33322228153 and 33-32-2-228-153 .

This is the most up to date version of this bushing from Lemfoerder. We recommend professional installation as these now require special tools for installation.

Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Swapping in E46 control arms into your E30 or E36 significantly increases negative camber by widening the track width and also gives you more clearance for more steering angle. Condor's CNC machined control arm brackets are made from solid steel and are fitted with a solid hex-shaped bushing. Designed for the street or the track, they hold the control arm steady and eliminate "shimmy" caused by stock bushings. They sharpen steering and improve overall driving feel. Comparable to the NLA Treehouse E36 & E30 Eyeball Arms.

Easiest install of any aftermarket solution
Allow clearance for E30 M50 Conversion exhaust
Street Approved, marginal increase in NVH
Easy Installation, no need for a press
CNC machined steel construction
Solid design without the maintenance of spherical bearings
Heavy-Duty replaceable UHMW insert. Don't be misinformed, UHMW is the best material for these inserts. Delrin is not self-lubricating and will crack and degrade over time.
Powder coated white for corrosion resistance
Improve caster with M3 offset geometry
Keep proper steering geometry under high loads
Made in the U.S.A.
Fitment:
E30 84-91 3 Series
E36 92-98 3 series & Z3

Note that you will need to use E36 outer tie rods and E90 inner tie rods when installing in an E30 or E36

Be sure to measure your control arms to determine if you need 21mm or 23mm. Meyle makes a standard e46 control arm and a Heavy Duty control arm. Most HD arms have a hex that is larger in size (23mm). Lifetime Warranty

Fits into the voids of OE bushings: 33316792513 Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings. These bushings replace the stock rubber bushings and offer a better driving feel, increased lifespan, and better wheel alignment.

Rubber bushing allow for a lot more movement and are more susceptible to wear and tear from spirited driving and harsh weather conditions. Polyurethane is much more resistant to wear and is stiffer, reducing the total amount of movement that would normally affect the alignment negatively.

  • Polyurethane Construction for Enhanced Durability: Unlike OEM rubber mounts, which are prone to wear and degradation over time, these mounts are crafted from tough polyurethane. This material provides greater resistance to wear, oil, road contaminants, and high temperatures, ensuring a longer-lasting component that maintains its structural integrity.
  • Superior Handling and Control: The stiffer polyurethane reduces the flex and movement that can occur with rubber mounts, providing more direct shock performance. This results in better handling, improved suspension response, and increased stability, particularly during aggressive driving or when cornering.
  • Comfortable Ride Quality: Despite its firmer characteristics, the polyurethane shock mount is designed to absorb road vibrations and noise, ensuring that while your handling improves, you don’t sacrifice the comfort BMWs are known for. It balances performance and comfort, making it suitable for both daily driving and spirited driving.
  • Quick and Easy Installation: Designed as a direct replacement for the stock rear shock mounts, this bushing allows for a straightforward installation process. No additional modifications are required, making it a simple yet effective upgrade for your BMW’s suspension.

This Rear Shock Mount – 10 mm is an ideal upgrade for BMW E30, E36, E46, Z3, and Z4 owners who want to improve their vehicle’s handling performance and suspension durability. The combination of enhanced strength and control with ride comfort makes it an excellent choice for both everyday use and more performance-driven situations, offering a long-lasting solution to rear shock mounting issues.
