With this breather simply remove your oil cap, install the breather, and instantly free up horsepower, improve turbo draining, remove crankcase pressure, all while adding a cool look to your engine bay.

Can be used by itself with the stock PCV system to eliminate crankcase pressure, or with any number of PCV setups for the ultimate in crankcase pressure relieve 

Made from 6061-T6 Aircraft aluminum anodized black for a long-lasting finish, 4 stainless steel baffles for complete oil control, a PTFE one way check ball, a high-quality filter, and clamp all work together to keep crankcase pressure where it belongs, out of your crankcase.

 ALL BMW's with the two-prong style oil fill cap including but not limited to N54, N55, S55, S54

NOTE: NOT ALL THE MODELS LISTED HAVE THE SAME HOOD CLEARANCE, WE CANNOT SAY WHICH MODELS WILL HAVE CLEARANCE ISSUES, AND WHICH WILL NOT AS WE HAVE NOT TEST IT ON ALL MODELS. The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice. 

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

After the introduction of the M52TU/M54 engines, BMW observed an uptick in CCV-related issues, especially in cold regions. Vehicles operating in extremely low temperatures often encountered a blockage in the CCV dipstick hose, leading to elevated crankcase pressure and visible blue smoke from the exhaust. To address this issue, BMW introduced cold climate-specific hoses with foam insulation, preventing condensation and facilitating quicker oil warm-up. The crankcase ventilation valve, known as the oil separator, PCV, CCV, or crankcase pressure regulator valve, plays a vital role in redirecting oil from your vehicle's intake system back into the engine oil pan. Signs indicating the need for crankcase ventilation system replacement include:

Whistling sounds from the intake manifold, caused by crankcase pressure venting through holes in the CCV hoses. Blue smoke emitting from the tailpipe, indicating oil consumption. Excessive oil usage. Milky or yellowish buildup under the oil cap, suggesting condensation due to ventilation valve malfunction.
