This allows for more current to be supplied to your low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP) without risking thermal overload, which often leads to your car shutting down. This means that you won't have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road while waiting for your EKP module to cool down, especially when you've installed a large low-pressure fuel pump such as a Walbro 525lph. How does the integrated automatic cooling work? The integrated automatic cooling works by us installing a thermal activation switch directly onto the new half bridge IC. When the half bridge IC reaches 50°C, the 40mm fan will turn on and keep running until the IC is below 50°C or until the EKMP3 stops receiving power. I have an EKPM2, can I upgrade to this? Yes. You can upgrade to this. We recommend using the HW05 and below module. You will need to code it in order for it to function properly. Can I run more than 1 low-pressure fuel pump off of this module? No. We do not recommend that you use more than one low-pressure fuel pump with any EKP module due to the factory wiring supplying power to the EKP Module is only 12 gauge, which is not rated for the type of power demands that two low-pressure fuel pumps would require.

This kit allows you to SAFELY remove the DI injectors, install our delete fittings, and run PI only. We machined these deletes from 310 Stainless for extreme heat, and corrosion resistance, and include 3 hold downs. These DI deletes COMPLETELY get rid of all factory provisions, including the seal. If the seal is left intact with no fuel to cool the injector or delete it will quickly overheat and melt the delicate seal causing combustion gasses to escape the engine creating misfires, and worse possibly damaging your injector bore on the cylinder head. Our deletes are machined to be a press fit into the cylinder, and can be either cooled with liquid nitrogen, and dropped in, or tapped in with a hammer, and then held down with the included hold downs. Our kit is entirely plug-and-play with the factory vehicle harness. No cutting or splicing of OEM wiring/connectors. It installs in minutes and can be removed without a trace on the car!

Our team used SolidWorks to design a Flow Optimized Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter (FFSA) to ensure fuel flow is unobstructed and with no added pressure drop at full fuel pump flow from the fuel tank to your motor when our kit is installed. This is important when pushing the factory fuel system with all the power Ethanol can provide over petrol!

Flex fuel sensor housing is designed to neatly install into the factory BMW fuel hat location.

Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter also contains two 1/8 NPT ports that allow installation of an auxiliary Fuel Pressure sensor for vehicles that don’t come with an OEM one from the factory for future use. Depending on fitment, either port can be used.

Flex fuel sensor housing is designed to neatly install into the factory BMW fuel hat location.

PFS is proud to offer a true drop-in 1000WHP+ capable LPFP for the F9X X3/4M. This LPFP needs NO additional pumps, wiring harnesses, etc etc. It will support up to 800WHP on Ethanol percentages as high as E98 and will support much higher power levels with less E content as long as you have the octane to support it. For the pump, we start with a factory bucket, we modify it extensively to accept our custom PFS Brushless fuel pump. We then re-terminate the factory wiring to accept the new pump. No wiring splices, done the same way the factory does -the right way. Every single pump is then fully tested on our flow bench to ensure proper function before shipping -you’re going to be installing a product that has already proven itself. This pump is a true drop-in meaning you pull the factory unit out, install this pump, plug the factory plug into the hat, and you are done.
