CSF is continually updating and adding new products In an effort to help customers achieve the highest level of competition in motorsports. CSF is pleased to release the latest B58 performance product. The CSF B58 Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer (CSF #8200S). The CSF B58 Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer is the next level upgrade for the B58 Super Manifold (CSF #8200 - ES4389640). Made from KIYLEX®, a patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer. KIYLEX® is as strong as aluminum and can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. This spacer is designed to insulate the intake manifold from conductive heat transfer from the cylinder head. This thermal barrier reduces manifold temperatures which helps lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combats heat soak. CSF is the exclusive distributor for the KIYLEX® Intake Manifold Spacer for the B58 Motor. Made from KIYLEX® – A patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer Spacer Height = 6.5mm Acts as a thermal barrier that dissipates heat between the cylinder head and intake manifold Proven to lower intake manifold temperatures by up to 15% Lowers Intake Air Temps (IATs) Can withstand temps up to 1100°F and is as strong as Aluminum Self-Sealing and do NOT require gaskets, silicon products, or sealing agents of any kind. Tested on @peppa_aka_skull’s (1000HP) A90 Supra by Visconti Tuning Includes installation hardware and instructions Highly recommended for Drag/Roll-Racing Applications where vehicles typically sit in staging lanes in-between racing Limited Lifetime Warranty Will NOT work with the OEM Manifold The addition of the Thermal Rejection Spacer is especially useful for Drag/Roll-Racing Events where vehicles typically sit in staging lanes in-between racing. This causes extreme heat soak to the liquid-to-air manifold as there is not sufficient airflow passing over the front mount heat exchanger when the car is idling (which is responsible for cooling the charge air fluid that runs through the manifold). This causes the starting IATs on subsequent runs to be higher than on the initial run. The B58 Super Manifold is made from Billet Aluminum and 100% Tig Welded for strength, which allows it to be able to withstand higher boost pressures compared to the OEM plastic manifold. Aluminum has higher thermal conductivity than plastic resulting in a higher rate of heat transfer between the cylinder head and manifold. Adding the Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces heat transfer between the two metal components (cylinder head & manifold). The spacer absorbs the heat from the cylinder head and dissipates it rather than transferring it to the manifold. The CSF Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer was designed for vehicles competing in motorsports who demand the absolute best cooling in order to gain a competitive edge. With that being said, there are significant advantages to adding this spacer upgrade to any vehicle with the CSF B58 Super Manifold installed.

Developed through over a year of street and track testing, the Burger Motorsports Competition Cold Air Intake is engineered to deliver the ultimate combination of performance, sound, and OEM-level refinement for B58-powered BMWs. Designed with an OEM+ aesthetic, this intake system delivers the sound and power gains of an open system. BMS’s renewable inverted cone filters provide exceptional filtration and airflow, ensuring maximum performance. Airflow restrictions are further reduced by utilizing both the factory cold air duct and an additional cold-side airbox inlet. To combat heat soak, the system retains the factory heat shield, maintaining consistently low intake temperatures. The factory accordion hose and resonators are replaced with a smooth, free-flowing pipe, preventing turbulence and ensuring uninterrupted airflow to the turbo. Each BMS renewable inverted cone filter includes an integrated velocity stack, a design commonly found in motorsport applications to optimize airflow volume. These filters not only outflow the factory paper elements but are designed to last the life of your vehicle.

Upgrade durability, flow and performance with a performance intake system. VTT is proud to announce its Modular Silicone/Billet intake system for the BMW G2X Platform with the B58TU engine. We invested many hours of testing and fitting this kit to get the best fitment, and highest quality. We are very happy with the results. Full disclosure, the factory intake system as far as the airbox is very good, but the intake tract down to the turbo, is full of twists turns, bellows, etc which can cause flow disruption. It also has a silencer which is a restriction as it bypasses air to quiet the intake sound. By removing all of these, and replacing them with our 3'-3.5' Silicone intake tube either to our 6' cone filter or the stock airbox you are removing all of those, and providing a free-flowing optimized air path from the filter or airbox to the turbo. From our testing we found up to 700WHP, the stock airbox is up to the task if stock appearance and sound is what you wish. Once you go over 700WHP, we suggest stepping up to the 6' cone with a built-in velocity stack.

Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.

The 3.0 Liter B58.2 turbo engine of the specified BMW/Toyota models is equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. So the cooling of the charged air is realized by a watercooled intercooler, which is integrated directly into the intake manifold. The WAGNERTUNING intake manifold with integrated intercooler has got a new performance core which was specially developed for the high requirements and individual mounting position of the B58.2 engine and offers 128% more external core volume compared to the original intercooler. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and at the same time the best possible internal airflow. With the help of CFD simulations, the CNC-milled end tanks were designed for optimal airflow conditions. The result is an excellent cooling property with minimal back pressure. That`s why this kit is also perfect for racing use. An optimal cooling effect of the charged air with a significant increase in performance! All WAGNERTUNING radiators are equipped with a heat-conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect. The plug & play installation of the system is simple and easy to perform (an installation instruction is included as well). Advantages of this product: significantly better cooling performance (up to 20°C cooler IAT) maximum mechanical discharge of the turbocharger (35% less back pressure) more power and torque for your engine 100% pressure resistance 100% Plug and Play (no modifications) preprocessed port fuel injection (Fuel Rail not included) three 1/8 NPT ports for measuring additional parameters six preprocessed NOS or WMI ports (Nozzles not included) this intake manifold is suitable for all performance levels up to 4 years warranty important information for oil service: the oil filter still can be replaced without removing the intake manifold again!

The BMW G20 B58 Eventuri intake has been developed to provide the turbo with a less restrictive flow path whilst maintaining low inlet temperatures. Heat and Volume are the main considerations when designing an intake for turbocharged engines. In the G20, the intake system is located next to the exhaust manifold which rapidly heat soaks the engine bay. High temperatures are detrimental for engine performance as the turbo would have to build boost with heated, less dense air and so the only way to ensure IAT’s are kept to a minimum is for a fully sealed intake. This however, results in a restriction with only one stock air feed to draw air in from. During development, the folks at Eventuri noticed an additional opening into the wheel arch area and took advantage of this by adding a secondary feed to our airbox. Furthermore, the sealed airbox also has a heat shield with gold reflective to minimise the radiative heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. In order to maximize volume, they made the airbox as large as possible with a recess for potential strut braces. The stock convoluted intake tube is replaced with a smooth carbon tube which is also larger in internal volume with a starting internal diameter of 111mm (4.4') smoothly tapering down to match the turbo inlet. The tube provides a smooth path from the filter to the turbo inlet. Finally, they use a custom-made high-flow dry filter that is ISO tested for filtration performance and has a larger filtration area than the stock filter.

Designed in-joint by CSF, VF Engineering, and CPC (Custom Plenum Creations) for optimal performance, reliability, and cooling, this feature-rich intake manifold is the Tuner's dream manifold! The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts – taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. In a short amount of time, performance enthusiasts have already started to more than double the stock engine output – now pushing through 700whp, 800whp, and looking into the elusive 4 digit 1,000whp mark. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show an apparent weakness in cars that have bolt-on modifications, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. Also, the OEM intercooler system has been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, and drifting, as well as spirited driving on the street. This can cause the car to pull timing out of the engine due to high intake air temperatures (IATs), and then can cause “limp mode” once temperatures reach a certain threshold, as the vehicle’s ECU will cut power to protect the engine. CSF conducted extensive testing on the dyno with R&D partner VF Engineering to ensure performance improvements before going into production with the new manifold. CSF performed over 50 dyno runs on the same car, on the same day, in relatively hot ambient conditions (~90°F) comparing the performance of the CSF Charge-Air Cooler Manifold to the OEM. Both the CSF and OEM cooler went through roughly 25 back-to-back dyno pulls every 30 seconds to measure the performance of the car overtime, resistance to heat soak, recovery time, and the effect on the turbo system duty cycle.

AutoTecknic was established in 2000 and has since become one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of carbon fiber parts and accessories for a wide variety of manufacturers. AutoTecknic's Dry Carbon Cooling Plate provides the G22/G23/G26 4-Series with better air induction while providing the intake and engine with cooler air during high-speed driving. It also gives your engine bay a fresh appearance. Dry carbon fiber's name also comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold, and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means that there are fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets that form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced.

CSF's Testing Results: Faster recovery of intake air temperatures ~30°F reduction of intake air temperatures (IAT’s) compared to OEM Less pressure drop compared to OEM core Puts less stress on the turbo system, allowing more boost to be made at higher targets Avoided going into limp mode after prolonged demanding conditions, simulating motorsports use On a stage 2 car with bolt-on upgrades, making ~400whp, comparing dyno run 19 between CSF and OEM, an increase of ~26whp and 11wtq were achieved The performance increase and delta between CSF and OEM will be bigger as power is increased in the vehicle Features & Specifications: High Performance, Motorsports-Grade Bar/Plate Air-to-Water Intercooler Core - Double the Capacity of the OEM Core (12 Rows of Water Cooling vs. OEM 6 Rows) lower pressure drop across the system Easy Access to Oil Filter Housing Integrated Sensor Pad - Three 1/8" NPT Ports Included Optional Fuel Rail - Adds Port Injection Capabilities! Individual Port Injection Bungs on Each Cylinder Runner - Arrives Pre-Plugged Integrated Nitrous/Meth Ports - 1/8" NPT ports on each cylinder runner Allows for Even Spray Distribution and Control for Maximum Performance and Engine Protection Individual 1/8" NPT Breather Ports for Both Inlet/Outlet Water Connections on Back of Manifold for Easy Air-Bleeding of the System Plug-and-Play design, Requiring No Modifications to Install Includes Hardware and Installation Kit with Picture Diagrams Containing 28 Different Parts for Easy Installation Can be Used With OEM or Aftermarket Engine Covers (with OEM Connections) Comes Finished in Thermal Black Heat Dispersion Coating Made by World-Leading Automotive Machinist Custom Plenum Creations in Australia Looking to get the most out of this intake? When CSF released the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” for G-Chassis BMW and Supra, it was a smash hit (CSF #8200/8200B). It quickly became the go-to manifold for racers and enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their B58. Over the past two years, people have been pushing the limits of the Gen 2 B58. While the Gen 2 B58 “Super Manifold” has held up amazingly to countless 1000hp builds, customers still wanted more. Well, the wait is over and CSF is proud to introduce the “Race X” Charge-Air-Cooler manifold. Another industry-leading design by the trio of CSF, VF Engineering, and Custom Plenum Creations. The Race X Manifold has many of the features and specs as the Super Manifold in addition to some new race-focused features. The Race X Manifold is designed for high-level motorsports competition and racing applications. The limits of the current Super Manifold are very high and more than enough for many enthusiasts, tuners, and racers. However, those looking to push their Gen 2 B58s to the maximum have been asking for more. Race X features a 25% larger core, additional parameter ports, and an optimized water flow system. The manifold can be used in either dual or single-pass configurations and features a new front port that has been optimized for ice box setups. This is the most versatile and largest manifold available on the market and has been race-tested on some of the fastest B58-powered drag cars in the world. Biggest/Best Core in the Industry Once you get into that 1000hp+ range on the B58, most aftermarket manifolds have reached their limits in terms of flow and cooling capacity. To resolve both limitations, CSF increased the size of the core by 25% over the #8200. The larger core has 15 cooling rows (vs 12 rows on the CSF #8200) and keeps up with the air flow demand while also increasing the cooling capacity. Dual or Single Pass CSF specifically designed the front water end plate of the manifold to allow for a single pass setup or ice box setup. This -16 ORB bung found on the front water plate is the largest available on any aftermarket B58 manifold (competitor’s unit uses a -12 fitting). CSF has teamed up with industry-leading fitting and hose experts Brown and Miller (BRMS) to optimize the water flow out of the front plate. CSF recommends using the following BRMS fittings with a maximum fitting angle of 120 degrees. BRMS is recommended by CSF because there are no flow restrictions on their fittings and are highly regarded as the best in the motorsport industry. Top Feed Port Injection with Included Fuel Rail The CSF Manifold includes an extruded fuel rail which attaches to the outlet side of the manifold. The AN-8 fuel rail comes with a -8 internal hex plug fitting. This allows you to run a returnless fuel system or a full loop setup. Fuel rail aperture for each cylinder is an optimized 7mm opening for compatibility with most commonly used high performance injectors CSF recommends using Injector Dynamics (ID) injectors for the best performance – the most commonly used injector for this engine has been ID model # 1050.34.14.14.6 (qty 6) Anodized CNC machined injector hats (qty 6) are included in the supplied hardware kit to accommodate short height injectors aka “shorties” Individual Nitrous / Methanol Injector Ports A 1/8' NPT port on each cylinder runner can be used for nitrous or methanol injection. The CSF manifold allows for maximum spray control and even spray distribution throughout the engine. A nitrous system set-up specifically for the CSF manifold is available from industry leaders Nitrous Express through Titan Motorsports. Expanded Vacuum and Parameter Pad CSF has included a port pad into the machining of the tank on the manifold inlet side. The ports can be used to measure additional parameters or as an additional vacuum source. The Race X Manifold has two additional 1/4' NPT ports to go along with the standard three 1/8' NPT ports. Each port can be plugged with the included hardware kit if they are not used. Easy Access to Spin-Off Oil Filter CSF incorporated a recessed design towards the back of the manifold that allows easy access to the spin-off oil filter. This means you do not have to remove your manifold every time you want to change your oil. Air Inlet Divider The inclusion of an air divider welded into the inlet side tank of the manifold is another exclusive feature of the CSF manifold. With the length of the manifold, the engineers at VF Engineering wanted to make sure that the volume and velocity of air was consistent to all cylinders. The inlet has an air divider to ensure the best possible airflow and equal cooling performance to each cylinder. Airflow to the back of the manifold (cylinders four, five, and six) should be equal to the airflow to the front of the manifold (cylinders one, two, and three) for the best possible performance. Breather Ports for Inlet/Outlet of Water Tanks Two 1/8' NPT ports are located on the top of the back water plate. These ports can be used to measure inlet/outlet water temps as well as used as breather ports to help in the bleeding procedure. 1/8th NPT plugs come included in the supplied hardware kit. Please follow OEM BMW or Toyota bleeding procedure which takes roughly 15 minutes to complete. Slotted Mounting Tabs Positioning the manifold in the engine bay is fairly straightforward. However, it can be a little frustrating to get the bolt holes on the intake side mounting tabs lined up perfectly. After doing a few test fittings CSF realized this could be resolved by slotting the mounting tabs. This allows the bolts to be installed before final positioning adjustments and makes installation a bit easier. Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer Made from KIYLEX®, a patented revolutionary high-performance final stage polymer. The addition of the Thermal Rejection Spacer is especially useful for Drag/Roll-Racing Events where vehicles typically sit in staging lanes in-between racing. The CSF Manifold is made from Billet Aluminum and 100% TIG Welded for strength, which allows it to be able to withstand higher boost pressures compared to the OEM plastic manifold. Hardware Kit, Well Thought-Out Instruction Manual The supplied hardware kit includes all of the brackets, bolts, washers, and CNC machined fittings for installation. This is an industry-exclusive feature to the CSF x VF Engineering design, and was extremely difficult to not only engineer, but to manufacture as well. An array of items come vacuum packaged with corresponding letters listed on an easy to use Bill-of-Materials List (BOM) along with exploded diagrams and a simple order of operation procedure list to follow for installation.
