Strut and shock bodies finished with a durable gloss black powder coat for good looks and great longevity
Threaded portions are are zinc-coated for optimum corrosion protection against rain and salt (finish will vary between clear or black zinc coatings depending on availability)
Coil springs are powder-coated Reflex Silver Metallic finish for durability
Red anodized, billet aluminum spring seats with locking collars allow for quick, on the car, adjustability with the included spanner wrenches
Anodized adjustable sway bar end links with heavy duty bushings
Self-locking, zinc-coated flanged nuts used for shock & strut shaft pins
Zinc coated strut mount securing nuts included
Rear shock adjuster housings are black E-coated for durability
Zinc-coated lower spring perches

Due to their soft rubber construction, OE strut mounts are known to wear at an accelerated rate. Many high-mileage vehicles fall victim to strut mount failure, which is commonly associated with annoying clunks, groans, or rattles from the front suspension.

With this issue in mind, ECS Tuning developed their heavy-duty front strut mount with upgraded, higher durometer rubber to resolve sloppy handling and increase longevity. Manufactured precisely within OEM tolerances, these mounts are a perfect fit for your MINI.

Increases longevity: Upgraded rubber construction makes for a stiffer mount, less prone to cracking and general degradation. With the wide range of suspensions and sway bars available today adjustable sway bar links can help you with many problems. Along with the ability to remove preload you can change the length to maximize sway bar geometry. Example: if the sway bar hoop comes too close to the steering rack, oil cooler, or under tray in its suspension travel you can adjust it by simply lengthening or shorting the adjustment rod. In some cases you may need a longer or shorter adjustment rod to achieve optimal geometry.
