BMW Engine Parts for MINI

Elevate your custom installation with the ECS -10AN O-Ring Boss fitting, a crucial component that connects your ECS Tuning Catch Can to a 3/4" ID hose. This fitting simplifies your plumbing setup, ensuring a seamless solution.

Featuring a pre-installed Viton O-ring, this fitting is engineered for excellence, providing a leak-proof seal that resists the effects of oil and fuel exposure, guaranteeing long-term durability.

The 3/4" nipple is thoughtfully designed with barbs to secure hose position effectively, minimizing the risk of hose disconnection. Keep in mind that clamps and hoses are available for separate purchase. These fittings are sold individually, with most installations requiring a pair of them.

The solenoid is used to fasten the camshaft adjuster to the camshaft, and also controls the flow of oil into both camshaft adjusters. The central valve/oil control valve is crucial to proper VANOS operation.

If your central valve is worn, clogged, or was removed for camshaft service, replace it with this high-quality, exact fit piece from Bremmen Parts.

ECS Tuning presents magnetic drain plugs tailored for your BMW, equipped with a permanently mounted magnet to trap ferrous metal suspended in your oil. These plugs capture tiny particles, typically evading the oil filter, resulting in a cleaner engine. Over time, this saves your bearings and oil pump from unnecessary wear. Crafted from robust 7075-T6 aluminum, the ECS Tuning M12 magnetic drain plug boasts 80% more strength than the common 6061 aluminum.

• Permanently mounted magnet for metal particle trapping
• Cleaner engine and extended bearing life
• 7075-T6 aluminum construction for superior strength
• Captures metal particles from wearing or rebuilt engines
• Ideal for normal wear of reciprocating parts
• Torque to 18ft-lbs using a 17mm socket, like your stock drain plug

ECS Tuning Performance Kevlar reinforced belts offer enhanced durability and reliability for your Mini's engine. These belts are designed with Kevlar reinforcement, providing greater resistance to elongation over time and offering superior shock and impact resistance compared to OEM belts.

• Enhanced durability and reliability
• Reduced elongation over time, minimizing belt adjustment needs
• Higher shock and impact resistance
• Rigorously tested for tensile strength, elongation, hardness, temperature, oil resistance, and flex performance

Experience an upgrade in your turbo system with the NM Eng Turbo Oil Line, which boasts a stainless steel braided line featuring precisely clocked banjo ends. This essential oil line provides a solution to a common issue – the oil leak that frequently occurs from the factory hard line. It's a must-have upgrade that's recommended every time you need to access the turbo by removing the bumper, replace the water pump housing, or enhance your intercooler.

It's important to note that an unchecked turbo oil line leak can result in serious consequences, including a messy oil spill, potential turbo starvation, and even the risk of fire when oil drips onto the catalytic converter, which happens to be the hottest part of your vehicle.

For a comprehensive solution, NM recommends replacing the return oil tubing simultaneously, utilizing the OEM part #: 11658617069.

Enhance your BMW's performance with NM Engineering's innovative TitaNM turbo heat shield, crafted from CP grade titanium. Designed specifically for N14 & N18 engines, this shield efficiently redirects heat from the turbocharger, lowering intake temperatures while safeguarding the bonnet's paint. Unlike conventional heat shields, NM's design ensures optimal turbocharger heat dissipation and reliability without fully encasing the turbo.

Benefits:

• Crafted from CP grade titanium for durability
• Efficiently redirects heat from the turbocharger
• Reduces intake temperatures for improved performance
• Protects the bonnet's paint from excessive heat

Modern emission regulations require a closed PCV/Breather system for cleaner operation. However, inefficient oil particle capture can lead to excessive oil vapor ingestion, causing carbon buildup, reduced performance, and fuel economy. ECS Tuning's updated ECS Baffled Oil Catch Can, now with an easy-to-empty 1/4" drain fitting, is engineered to collect toxic blow-by gases, minimize carbon deposits, and reduce oil contamination within engine oil. Recirculating oil vapor ensures emissions compliance without venting to the atmosphere.

• Key Features:
• Highly Efficient Oil Separator: Strategically positioned 4 chamber baffle system maximizes oil/air separation and minimizes oil droplets in the intake tract.
• Integrated Dipstick: Knurled and black anodized oil dipstick simplifies oil volume inspection.
• Reservoir: Available in 6oz or 8oz capacity with a 1/4" NPT drain plug fitting.
• Serviceable: Easily removable baffle plates and drain plug for cleaning.
• Easy/Customizable Installation: Combine with the ECS Universal Bracket Kit for simplified installation and adjustable mounting locations.
• Leak-Free Fittings: Machined -10AN ORB (O-Ring Boss) fittings available for secure connections (fittings sold separately).

Enhance Your Mini's Drivetrain Longevity with ECS Tuning's Magnetic Plugs

Safeguard your Mini's drivetrain by using ECS Tuning's Magnetic Plugs, meticulously designed to eliminate abrasive metal particles from your fluid. These plugs, featuring permanent magnets, effectively attract and retain tiny abrasive and ferrous metal particles, preventing their circulation within the lubrication systems.

Various conditions, including normal wear of moving parts, inadequate post-machining flushing, casting flaws, or stress-induced component breakdown, can introduce metal particles. ECS Tuning's Magnetic Plugs are the solution, ensuring protection for crucial drivetrain components by capturing these particles.

• Removes abrasive metal particles for improved drivetrain longevity
• Engineered with permanent magnets for effective particle capture
• Guards against wear caused by metal particles in the lubrication system
• Includes 10 copper crush washers for replacement during oil service

This solenoid valve controls variable camshaft timing, a common point of failure on aging, high-mileage engines.

When the SOLV fails or begins to function erratically, your vehicle may display fault codes such as 2A9A (Cam sensor, inlet signal invalid for synchronization) or 2A9B (exhaust camshaft sensor signal invalid for synchronization). This can cause poor operation, or even cause "limp mode".

Bremmen Parts offers a cost-effective solution for this issue. This high-quality, OE-replacement Solenoid Valve solves engine fault codes and ensures proper powertrain performance.

Features:

Regulates variable camshaft timing for optimized engine performance. Affordable OE-replacement option without compromising quality or functionality. Eliminates fault codes caused by a faulty SOLV, remedying limp mode operation. Features durable construction, built to withstand the demands of high-mileage engines. Designed for perfect fit and functionality. Includes sealing o-ring and electrical plug.
