Vargas has developed a solution to problematic PCV systems! Stock diaphragms on the gen-1 B58 Valve cover are fragile and can crack or tear over time. This can cause loss of crankcase vacuum and smoking. The VTT PCV cap replaces the factory plastic cap with a billet aluminum piece which uses a Billet Banjo fitting, and VTT's Vaccum/Boost adapter to move vacuum directly from the head ports to the manifold. This cap will also allow you to run a catch can on the low side if desired. VTT Recommends using this cap alongside their High Side Catch Can and crankcase breather for maximum efficiency. Installation is as simple as popping the stock cap off, removing the diaphragm, and placing the VTT components in place. The VTT B58/S58 Head Port Block-Off kit is designed to either seal off the factory head ports used by the OEM low-side PCV system. These ports in the cylinder head utilize engine vacuum to evacuate crankcase gases, but in the process, can allow oil to enter the intake manifold, leading to valve carbon buildup and other performance issues over time. The Block-Off kit offered by VTT completely seals the factory head ports to prevent oil intrusion and unwanted vacuum leaks. This kit does NOT require any tapping, meaning no metal to get into the engine, etc. You simply tap the plugs into place. Key Features Eliminates oil draw-through into the intake manifold Prevents carbon buildup on intake valves Utilizes precision-machined plugs for boost sealing Fully reversible — Block-offs can be removed if needed No tapping is required. BMW uses a lot of plastic in their engine components to save weight and money. Unfortunately, plastic is damaged easily and the factory oil filter cap needs a special tool to remove. This cap is designed to use the original o-ring seal so no special parts are required. You only have to remove the original 'filter cage' from the original cap and transfer it to the new aluminum cap. The satin black anodize blends in with the rest of your engine bay making this a smart and subtle upgrade.

We start by keeping the great design elements of the factory B58 turbo and removing the not-so-great ones such as the small factory inlet area, bearing housing oil structure, thrust bearing, and anything else we saw that could be improved upon. With the basics covered, we stepped it up a level adding in proprietary VTT changes and finished off by having all these parts cast to OE quality. What this means for you is serious B58 power made easy; GC's are a drop in B58 turbocharger upgrade that supports over 600WHP while maintaining factory spool and all factory connections including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe. Key Design Elements: All new castings with factory restrictions removed. No oversized wheels stuffed into factory housings here! GC is cold side, and bearing housing only Full 3' turbocharger inlet size with an included 3-4' silicone inlet elbow that removes ALL factory inlet restrictions 9-blade Mar-M 246 turbine wheel with the latest aero technology for increased flow while maximizing spool 9 blade “point-milled” compressor wheels with the latest aero technology to maximize flow while virtually eliminating surge Direct connection to ALL factory lines including oil, water, downpipe, and factory charge pipe Redesigned, and improved internal components including bearing housing oiling, and an upgraded thrust bearing NO CORE CHARGES. The new unit is sold to you outright. Keep your old unit in case you ever want to go back to stock. Or sell it to recoup your investment -it’s up to you! The GC, GC-MID, and GC+ Come with a silicone intake tube, that will fit the stock airbox, and SOME intakes with no mods. It does not fit all, such as Injen, etc. If this is the case, you can either modify something work, or you can add the VTT MAF housing, and filter which will work with the GC inlet hose. Please be aware. This system removes the PTC heater, and it WILL register a shadow code in the DME. In our testing, this did NOT throw a check engine light. The code is only there if your scan the car. If you wish to remove the code it must be coded out.

The VTT B58 Head Port Check Valve Kit is designed to convert the factory head ports used by the OEM low-side PCV system. These ports in the cylinder head utilize engine vacuum to evacuate crankcase gases, but in the process, can allow oil to enter the intake manifold, leading to valve carbon buildup and other performance issues over time. VTT's Billet Check Valve kit converts the head ports into a robust internal PCV system using precision-engineered check valves. These one-way valves allow vacuum to function as intended while blocking boost pressure from entering the crankcase or charge tract.
