Schrick has been dedicated to engine performance through the development of only the highest quality camshafts for more than 40 years. They've created a bond with BMW enthusiasts nearly the entire time, offering options for both the street and track using top materials for strength and accuracy. Schrick has grown into a technology center offering one of the most advanced locations for engine testing and manufacturing.
These cams are a direct replacement for the stock cams and give a solid 15+ horsepower boost at the top end and great midrange torque increases too! More gains can be expected with intake and header upgrades and custom software tuning. A slightly lumpy idle is expected at cold start, but will be smooth once at operating temperature.
These Schrick cams were initially developed for the M3 CSL, but they also work well on the US and other non-CSL S54 engines. With more duration, they are a great match to high-flow headers and CSL intake plenum upgrades.

For the US E36 M3. Schrick 264/256 degree camshafts boost mid-high end power for that extra motivation at higher rpm. Low-end torque is not seriously affected due to the M50/M52s VAN0S System. And, higher profile cams work extremely well with an upgraded intake and exhaust. When upgrading the cams there are other areas you must take into consideration. Higher-flow fuel injectors, larger mass-air sensor, and custom programming are strongly recommended. Turner Motorsport sells complete intake & cam packages that boost power to over 290hp. Still looking for more power after bolt-ons? High performance camshafts from Schrick are the way to go. This set is just a great all-around cam upgrade for the S54!
These Schrick cams were initially developed for the M3 CSL but they also work great on the US and other non-CSL S54 engines as well. With more duration they are a great match to high flow headers, no cats, or CSL intake manifold upgrades. These are the new "cast" cams from Schrick which require new rocker arms (Schrick recommended or BMW part #11337833259). Professional installation is a must due to the intricacies with the double VAN0S.

These are a direct replacement for the stock camshafts and offer increased flow at mid and higher RPMs, thanks to 12.5mm of valve lift. Unlike 288/280 camshafts, this 280/272 set does not require upgraded valvetrain parts. The profile of these camshafts is quite close to stock CSL specs.
