Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. These kits include new Bav Auto High-Performance Ignition Coils, new spark plugs, dielectric grease, and a BMW spark plug service label to keep track of when your spark plugs were replaced.

Bav Auto's Ignition coils feature core windings that have been modified to increase firepower and promote a faster, more efficient burn. This gives your BMW/MINI increased torque in the lower range of RPM and more horsepower in the upper range. On M52/S52-equipped BMWs, the factory crankcase ventilation (CCV) system is a notorious weak link. Between brittle plastic corrugated hoses that crumble from heat soak and an internal cyclone diaphragm prone to tearing, a failing CCV leads to massive oil consumption, vacuum leaks, and that dreaded "howling" whistle.

The factory VANOS exhaust hub on the S54 engine is known to develop excessive play where the drive tabs interface with the oil pump disk. ECS Tuning VANOS Seal Kit

The original BMW seals are made of Buna-N rubber, which quickly hardens and loses its sealing properties when exposed to synthetic oil and high heat. Our ECS engineering team has corrected this flaw.
