The aFe Dual Cone intake and Cobb Accessport programmer complete the Stage 1+ package. The Cobb software tool puts multiple tuning stages in the palm of your hand. Our Stage 1+ package lines up with the Cobb Stage 1 tuning maps for an intake and FMIC (91 or 93+ octane fuel). Simply download the Stage 1+ map from the Cobb website, plug it in, and install. Select different maps for other upgrades, throttle settings, octane ratings, valet mode, or revert back to stock! If you're moving up in Stages simply download a new file from the Cobb website and update your AccessPort programmer! The AccessPort triples as a diagnostic tester/reader and a data logger. It's the most feature-packed programmer on the market today.

We have taken the guesswork out of choosing the best upgrades for the N54 engine. If you follow the upgrade path we have laid out you will have very satisfying and reliable results. The addition of the larger intercooler makes Stage 1 more enjoyable and won't let you down at the track or dragstrip. * Note that peak power gains are quoted remain the same as Stage 1 but the cooler intake air means there is less of a chance the engine computer will cut power from heatsoak.

This package of OEM E82 E90 E92 diff mounts replaces the stock rubber diff bushings. On a tuned 335i you may have noticed more driveline shudder or problems hooking up during hard launches. What happens is the stock rubber bushings are under constant flex as engine torque is transmitted through the differential. Under normal driving with a stock car the bushings are rarely stressed. But factor in significant additional torque from a tuned N54/N55 and the stock rubber will quickly show its weaknesses. You may have even broken a diff bolt or two as the heavy differential shifts around. Even non-turbo E82 and E9X models may benefit from fresh bushings.

This is a set of stock rubber bushings, made by OEM supplier Lemforder. They are the same as the Genuine BMW E9X diff mount bushings, but without the more expensive branding. If you're turned off by potential side effects of urethane or Delrin then the OEM diff mounts are your best option. The OEM mounts fit and perform just like the originals so there is no second guessing their quality. If you're looking for an upgrade we offer E9X solid Delrin and aluminum diff mounts that work well, even in street applications.

Replacement stock toe control arm (track strut) for the E82 1-series and E9X 3-series. The track strut controls the toe alignment of the rear suspension (whether the tire points in or out on a horizontal axis) It also helps to locate the suspension to the subframe. As the rubber bushings wear, the tire can actually drift in and out of alignment, resulting in a loose or unstable handling feel (especially when accelerating in a corner). The external temperature sensor on a BMW is placed within the underbody plastics that extend very close to the road.
