MMR's Low Temp Oil Thermostat is one of the easiest ways to increase your oil cooling capability. Rated to maintain the oil temps at about 194F (90c) to 230F (110c). Machined from aircraft grade T-6061 aluminum and anodized in MMR's trademark finish for durability. Installation is easy as it fits right into the OEM oil thermostat housing on the N54 and N55.

Highly recommended for cars used on the track or with a higher power and torque output than stock.

NOTE: The design of these Low Temp Thermostats functions more as a valve and less like a traditional thermostat, allowing certain levels of oil flow based on oil pressure. As oil pressure rises the plunger compresses the spring and oil flow increases, circulating more oil volume through the oil cooler.
