Engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the N55B30O0 engine, the FrankenTurbo F650 is a high-efficiency hybrid turbocharger that bridges the gap between OEM reliability and aftermarket performance. The unit utilizes a custom-cast, CNC-machined exhaust manifold and compressor cover to accommodate significantly larger rotating assemblies. By optimizing the internal volute area, the F650 reduces backpressure (PMEP), allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently at high RPMs. This results in a broader powerband and a significantly reduced risk of knock compared to pushing a stock turbo beyond its efficiency map.
