Not all diagnostic scan tools are the same. The cheap ones you find at catalog outlet stores are generic and give you generic information (sometimes not even that). BMW actually has very specialized diagnostic systems that they only share with dealers. The factory diagnostic tools require specialized programs on dedicated laptops that are a pain for the average DIYer to set up and use. The Schwaben BMW diagnostic tool is designed specifically for BMW and MINI. It's not generic and packs some serious features in its small case. We've used this in our service department and were very impressed with the depth of its capabilities. It has features that only the factory ISTA/INPA programs have. MAGNETIC PARTS TRAYS:
Stop losing nuts, blots, and screws. The Schwaben magnetic parts tray has a large 4-3/8 inch diameter stainless steel bowl with a rubber-coated magnetic base that won't mar painted surfaces.

Doing mechanical work, especially when it come to aluminum heads and engine blocks. The constant change in temperature from hot to cold with and engine may cause fasteners to be more difficult to remove and possibly stripping the threads. This tool wasn't designed to make new thread, but instead clean-up the damaged threads.

Hubcentric = Yes, this spacer comes with a new hubcentric lip for the wheel to rest on.
H&R's 20mm wheel spacers are Made in Germany and are TUV approved. H&R manufacturers their spacers from a super lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy for excellent strength and also to save unsprung weight. The spacers are drilled for additional lightness and easy fitment. They are then hard anodized for durability. These are not low quality universal spacers - the bolt pattern, hub sizing, and other dimensions are designed to be used on BMW models only.
This spacer is the bolt-on style - it is bolted to the hub using special mounting bolts. Your wheel then bolts to the spacer just like the original hub.

This suspension package of Bilstein Sport shocks and H&R Sport springs will lower the ride height and firm up the suspension to provide less bodyroll and better handling. This E24 and E28 suspension package is firm but not harsh and can be used on daily-driven street cars as well as backroad and weekend corner carvers.
H&R Sport springs lower the ride height by 1.25" and stiffens the spring rate. Both combine to lower the car's center of gravity and reduce the amount of bodyroll in corners. The springs are progressive rate so their initial stiffness is actually very compliant and it becomes stiffer as the spring is compressed. This is great for street cars that see bumps and potholes where suspension compliance is key. Overall, they are about 40% stiffer than the stock original springs. The ride quality is a little stiffer than a stock E28 M5.
We use Bilstein Sport shocks as the dampers and they feature Bilstein's patented and innovative valving system. With this system, small bumps and impacts are absorbed as they should be. But the shocks stiffen for cornering and other suspension motions. It's the best of both worlds as the shock self-adjusts based on suspension motion. These fit with the stock strut and shock mounts, making for an easy and clean install.
Although this suspension is listed for the E28 M5 and E24 M6, the original rear self-leveling system must be disabled or removed.
