No more slow starts! Does your car feel old? Age may not be the issue at all, your throttle cable bushings are mostly likely worn out and your car has lost its pep!
Your throttle cable is the main connection you have from the gas pedal to the throttle body. Do you have hesitation or delayed pedal response? Think of when you are sitting at a stop light or making a turn into a flow of traffic, you may not realize it but if you haven't replaced your throttle cable and bushings this will require you to apply pressure to the gas pedal before getting feedback which can cause slow starts at stop lights and put you in danger when merging in traffic. These are not issues with old cars, they are issues related to your throttle response!
Symptoms to look for: lackluster/sloppy throttle actuation, deformed throttle cable appearance, and bushing condition. Your throttle cable bushings can be soft, cracked or even disintegrated by now.
Upgrade from failed rubber to new billet aluminum bushings for quick gas pedal response and a better engagement with your car.

E31 E32 Throttle Body Encoder Plate is an advanced upgrade designed to improve the performance of M70 and S70 V12 engines. This limited production batch offers a more durable solution compared to the original encoder plates, which were prone to wear, causing throttle delay, lag, and even triggering the EML light. The original plates, priced at $4k USD each before they were discontinued, suffered from a worn encoder surface and degraded resistors that caused electrical faults over time. BMW redesigned these plates multiple times, and the new version uses the latest specifications from the final BMW production run.
This upgraded encoder plate is equipped with high-quality, Japanese-made resistors and a durable, coated encoder surface that resists wear far better than the OEM part. The result is improved throttle response, smoother idle, and more precise acceleration. The kit also includes a seal kit and gasket for easy installation.
