Vague or slopping shifter feel even after installing a short shifter or new OE shifter linkage bushings?  Looking for a more precise shifter feel in your classic BMW?  Consider replacing your old, worn rubber rear shifter bushing with new Turner poly to get the best shifting experience possible!  The Turner engineering team wasn’t satisfied with the other options on the market, so we set out to design the best solution for ease of installation and performance.

The competition requires the installer to cut or burn the rubber bushing out of the stock housing to be able to install their poly bushing, requiring reuse of an old worn out housing, or buying a new costly bushing assembly.  We decided this was cumbersome and unnecessary, so we designed a complete upgrade replacement bracket with a 70A polyurethane bushing preinstalled for a quick bolt-in installation.  Our bracket is precision formed with a CNC machined and TIG welded bushing cup to perfectly match the OEM bracket, and is made from 304 stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance.  The result is a complete design solution that creates much crisper shifting with nearly zero added NVH for a more engaging and enjoyable driving experience.

Note: Some shifter arms have a mushroom-shaped end. Use extra care installing our bushing on these arms. Filing this mushroom down makes installation easier, however simply applying sufficient pressure to the back side of the bushing during installation will allow this bushing to install smoothly.

E30 M3 Front Hub Assembly w/bearing. This bearing requires that you use your existing ABS ring. This is a simple press fit. This is an OEM Wheel Bearing Hub Assemblies made by FAG. Lightweight flywheels have proven themselves to be a worthwhile performance enhancement. But with the quicker throttle response and horsepower improvement comes one serious drawback: flywheel chatter. Without the dual-mass flywheel's rubber isolators, a lightweight aluminum flywheel has more rattle than stock. ECS has designed this flywheel using chrom-moly steel and it weighs almost ten pounds less than the stock DMF but not as extreme as full aluminum flywheels. The steel helps dampen vibration and noise so you get near-factory refinement and most of the benefits of a lightweight flywheel: quicker throttle response, better reliability, and more power to the wheels. Zero-balanced and SFI 1.1 certified (material and design has been independently burst tested to ensure quality and safety). This flywheel requires the E34 M5 sprung hub clutch kit. Modern flywheels are built with additional components that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. Weight has increased and reliability has decreased. With additional weight more energy is required for it to move. A lightweight flywheel does away with the dual mass design and its additional mass so more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance. And with a single-mass flywheel the unreliable DMF design is eliminated.
