The Clubsport was specifically designed for the Nordschleife using track day tires. By using the adjustable camber mounts, the suspension geometry can be adjusted to the requirements of tires and the intended use. The mentioned adjustment options combined with the independently adjustable rebound and compression damping technology allow a suspension setup according to the vehicle load, tire characteristics and different track conditions. Traditional 1-way coilovers force a single adjustment knob to balance both bump and rebound. These 2-way dampers eliminate that trade-off with fully independent compression and rebound controls. Use the 32 levels of compression adjustment to control front weight transfer under heavy braking, maximizing entry grip and allowing you to trail-brake deep into corners without understeer. 22 rebound levels fine-tune chassis recovery on brake release, keeping the front tires loaded through the apex for faster power-on exit speeds.

To maintain consistent performance during extended periods of performance driving, these dampers feature dedicated external fluid reservoirs that significantly increase total gas volume. During rigorous track use, rapid piston movement generates intense friction and heat, causing standard damper oil to thin out, aerate, and lose its damping force. By increasing overall fluid capacity, the external reservoirs effectively dissipate heat to keep peak oil temperatures down.

Fine-tuning your coilover damping shouldn’t mean stripping out your rear seats or interior panels. On many applications, rear shock adjusters are hidden behind carpet, trim, or seatbacks, making quick adjustments a hassle.

The ECS Rear Damping Extension Kit solves that problem with a clean and functional solution. These flexible extensions relocate the adjustment knobs to an easily accessible point above the rear shock towers, letting you dial in your suspension from inside the cabin, no disassembly required.

Installation is straightforward: simply drill a small access hole in your interior trim and route the extension cables through. The adjustment knobs can be removed to allow the line to pass through smaller openings, minimizing cutting. For proper installation, be sure to fully loosen the set screw, insert the cable, then securely tighten it using the provided Allen key.
