Condor's Rear Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcement Kit is one of the few kits in which the plate is not cut in the shape of a "C". A lot of companies cut them with an opening in order to have less waste when cutting. Their plates are fully connected all the way around making them stronger. This is a must-have reinforcement. The front mounting point of the rear trailing arm is a known area of failure on track driven E36s. Condor's 2-piece reinforcement plate kit reinforces the stock pocket bungs to prevent failure. Welding is required, includes rosette holes. *Does not fit 318ti.

This aluminum spring seat fits between upper and lower 60mm springs to "join" them together. Typically you would have a main spring on top and a tender or helper spring on the bottom (or vice-versa). The spring joiner, or locator ring, fits between the springs with a retaining lip on the inside. We like this design better than an outside spring joiner because it's lighter and there's no material sitting on the outside where a tire might come in contact with it. These are priced per each.

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This, in turn, reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.

Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

If your 318ti needs a little more pep in the corners, this is an excellent suspension package. H&R Sport springs and Bilstein Sport shocks for the 318ti will lower the ride height for an aggressive stance and stiffer springs will improve handling and balance in the corners. This suspension is a favorite among 318ti fans because the car corners better without a punishing ride. Perfect for daily-driven ti's that want to carry more speed through the corners.

H&R Sport springs lower the ride height by 1.4" in front and 1.0" in the rear and stiffens the spring rate. Both combine to lower the car's center of gravity and reduce the amount of bodyroll in corners. The springs are progressive rate so their initial stiffness is actually very compliant and it becomes stiffer as the spring is compressed. This is great for street cars that see bumps and potholes where suspension compliance is key. Overall, they are about 30% stiffer than the stock original springs.

We use Bilstein Sport shocks as the dampers and they feature Bilstein's patented and innovative valving system. With this system, small bumps and impacts are absorbed as they should be. But the shocks stiffen for cornering and other suspension motions. It's the best of both worlds as the shock self-adjusts based on suspension motion. These fit with the stock strut and shock mounts, making for an easy and clean install.

Parts list:
  • 1 set - H&R Sport Springs (29970)
  • 1 - Bilstein Left Front Sport strut (VE3-4402 / 35-044024)
  • 1 - Bilstein Right Front Sport strut (VE3-4403 / 35-044031)
  • 1 pair - Bilstein Rear Sport Shocks (B36-2027 / 24-020275)

For BMW E30, Z3, E21, and 2002 models, upgrading to adjustable rear trailing arm bushings from manufacturers like Powerflex offers both improved performance and the ability to fine-tune suspension alignment. These bushings are designed to replace the factory rubber bushings, which can degrade over time and lead to imprecise handling.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Adjustable Alignment: These adjustable rear trailing arm bushings allow you to modify rear toe and camber settings. This is crucial for fine-tuning the suspension for different driving styles, especially if the car is used in motorsport applications like track days or autocross, or if the car has been lowered and needs suspension corrections.
  • Superior Handling: By significantly reducing the play in the rear trailing arms, these bushings improve the car’s handling dynamics. They keep the rear suspension more rigid during acceleration, braking, and cornering, resulting in sharper, more predictable handling.
  • Polyurethane Durability: Unlike the OEM rubber bushings, which wear out over time due to heat, road grime, and chemicals, these adjustable bushings are made of durable polyurethane. This material resists aging, cracking, and wear, ensuring consistent performance over a longer period.
  • Reduced Deflection: Adjustable polyurethane bushings limit suspension deflection, allowing the vehicle to maintain optimal suspension geometry under load. This improves cornering performance and reduces body roll.
  • Longer Service Life: Polyurethane bushings are known for their longevity compared to rubber bushings, offering a "fit and forget" solution for car owners who want reduced maintenance and better overall reliability.

Installation and Adjustment:

  • Direct Fit Replacement: These bushings are designed as a direct replacement for the stock rubber bushings, offering the same fitment while adding adjustability. No major modifications are typically required, making installation easier for those familiar with suspension work.
  • Alignment Precision: Once installed, these bushings allow precise adjustments to the suspension alignment, which is ideal for correcting issues that arise from modifications like lowering the vehicle or installing performance suspension components.

Ideal for:

  • BMW E30 (3 Series)
  • BMW Z3
  • BMW E21 (3 Series)
  • BMW 2002

These adjustable rear trailing arm bushings are perfect for enthusiasts looking for more control over their vehicle’s alignment and handling, whether for street driving or performance applications. They offer a great balance of increased performance, durability, and adjustability without sacrificing daily driving comfort.

As great as the E36 M3 stock suspension is, it still has compromises. From spring rate to ride height, the suspension was spec'd to be appealing to a wide range of BMW customers. In other words, they couldn't make it a track car for the road and still sell 50,000 of them. If you think your M3 could carry more speed through corners with less bodyroll, and look better with a lower stance, this suspension could be for you.

H&R Sport springs lower the ride height by 1.5" in front and 1.0" in the rear and stiffens the spring rate. Both combine to lower the car's center of gravity and reduce the amount of bodyroll in corners. The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Kit includes two front struts and two rear shocks. These shocks are for use with lowered springs such as from H&R or Eibach. We do not recommend that you use them with any factory spring, including factory sport package springs. With the increased damping rates from stock you will have much more control over body motions. These will give a much more buttoned down and taut feeling with lowering springs compared to stock shocks.

These shocks fit the following BMWs:

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. The BMW E36 / Z3 / 318Ti Front Sway Bar Bushing (26mm) is a key suspension component specifically designed for BMW models such as the E36, Z3, and 318Ti. These bushings are crucial for connecting the front sway bar to the vehicle’s chassis, playing a significant role in enhancing handling, stability, and overall driving performance.

    Key Features:

    1. Optimized for 26mm Sway Bars:

      • Specifically engineered for vehicles equipped with a 26mm front sway bar, these bushings ensure a snug fit that maximizes performance and minimizes body roll.
    2. Functionality:

      • The sway bar bushings work by connecting the sway bar to the chassis, effectively reducing body roll during turns. This improved connection enhances stability and allows for more confident handling, especially during cornering.
    3. Material Choices:

      • Offered in both rubber and polyurethane variants:
        • Rubber bushings provide comfort and effective noise dampening, although they can wear out faster over time.
        • Polyurethane bushings deliver greater durability, reduced deflection, and improved handling response, making them a popular choice among performance enthusiasts.
    4. Enhanced Driving Dynamics:

      • Replacing old or worn bushings can lead to significant improvements in handling and responsiveness, resulting in sharper steering and better control during aggressive driving.
    5. Model Compatibility:

      • Designed to fit a range of models, including the E36, Z3, and 318Ti, these bushings help maintain the renowned performance characteristics that BMW drivers expect.
    6. Installation Process:

      • Installing new sway bar bushings usually requires detaching the sway bar from the suspension. This process can be performed by skilled DIYers, but professional installation is recommended for optimal results.

    Benefits of Upgrading or Replacing:

    • Enhanced Cornering Performance: New bushings improve the effectiveness of the sway bar, resulting in less body roll and enhanced stability during turns.
    • Improved Steering Feel: Fresh bushings offer better feedback from the suspension, creating a more connected driving experience.
    • Durability: Upgrading to polyurethane options can extend the lifespan of the sway bar components, reducing the frequency of replacements.

In summary, the BMW E36 / Z3 / 318Ti Front Sway Bar Bushing (26mm) is essential for maintaining and improving the handling and performance of these BMW models. Whether you're replacing worn bushings or upgrading to polyurethane for better durability and performance, ensuring these components are in top condition is vital for enjoying the exceptional driving dynamics that these vehicles provide.

Trailing arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

One of the tricks for getting your BMW to handle better is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will put more of the tire's width in contact with the ground during cornering. With more rubber there is more grip. BMWs typically have less camber in the front to create understeer. But if you're running a stock setup on the track or autocross you are giving up speed and time as the front tires run out of grip sooner than they should. Made from aircraft grade aluminium, with stainless steels strut inserts and hardware for the ultimate in durability for street or track use. The built in reinforcement plate reduces the stress on the shock tower to reduce the chance of the shock towers tearing. With a maximum adjustment rang of -1.5 degrees camber per side, these plates will allow you to get your suspension right where you need it. NOTE: Will not fit with Bilstein Struts/Shocks. Can only be used with Linear style springs. Will not fit OE-Style Progressive / Barrel style springs. Fits the following BMW's 1992-1999 E36 BMW - 318ti 318i/is/ic 323i/is/ic 325i/is 328i/is/ic M3 2006-2013 E9X BMW - 325i/xi 328i/xi 330i/xi 335i/is/ix M3

    • Matching Shock & Spring Package
    • Comparable to a H&R Sport spring - mild upgrade over stock
    • Improved handling with minimal impact on ride comfort

Suspension packages provide an excellent low-cost alternative to stock replacement shocks and springs and this H&R Touring Cup Kit blends better handling with an acceptably comfortable ride.

H&R Touring Cup Kit springs lower the ride height as much as 1.5" in front and 1.0" in the back and stiffens the spring rate. Overall, they are about 35% stiffer than the stock original springs. Lowering amount will be less if replacing the factory sport suspension. This package fits with the stock strut and shock mounts, making for an easy and clean install.

This H&R Cup Kit is a tuned shock/spring package for the E36. H&R matches a set of springs to performance shocks for a perfectly setup and functioning suspension package. Instead of mixing and matching springs with shocks, H&R has tailored each shock for the specific model, taking into account spring rates, chassis setup, and suspension motions. Without the shocks and springs working together the suspension may have incorrect travel or be a mis-match for spring rate (under-dampened) or too stiff. This E36 Cup Kit addresses all of that.

The E36 chassis combined with the four-cylinder motor can make for a very light and sprightly car. You can enhance that sporty zip with a more capable suspension. This H&R/Bilstein sport package will give better handling by reducing bodyroll and lowering the ride height. The trick to making the 318 go fast is momentum and this package will allow you to maintain and carry more speed through corners. You can make the most of the 318 package, even on daily driven cars.

H&R Sport springs lower the ride height by 1.5" in front and 1.0" in the rear and stiffens the spring rate. Both combine to lower the car's center of gravity and reduce the amount of bodyroll in corners.

Fitment note: on 1992 models BMW changed the front suspension design midway through the model year. You will need to confirm which suspension is on your 1992 model prior to ordering this suspension. All 1993 and later models use the same setup.

Condor's Offset Rear Trailing Arm Bushings (RTABs) are perfect for the street and the track. They're designed to help correct rear toe-in and toe-out issues on lowered cars. To correct for toe-in: RTABs can be installed with the thick side inboard to help push the rear trailing arms towards the outsides of the car. To correct for toe-out when running minimal camber setup: RTABs can be installed with the thin sides inboard to help push the trailing arms inwards. The amount of total adjustment is purely dependent on how low your car is, but we've seen toe adjustment from 1/8” out on each side to 1/8” in on each side, which is a super nice range for the e36 rear end! They use UHMW in all of their suspension bushings because it is self-lubricating, meaning it requires no grease when installing, has almost zero deflection yet also absorbs some vibration. It will outlast other types of rubber or urethane bushings. They include black oxide plated steel plates for each RTAB to prevent lateral movement between the bushing material and the aluminum. Polyurethane and rubber bushings will deflect and slide, causing your rear alignment settings to change mid-corner. With these bushings, you won't have to worry about dynamic changes in your toe settings; the rear alignment stays in check during hard cornering, braking, and acceleration.

This bushing is part of the Heritage Collection, offering a perfect blend of vintage style and enhanced performance, ideal for enthusiasts who want to maintain the originality of their vehicle while improving handling.

    Key Features:

    • Material: Made from durable polyurethane, which is far more resistant to wear, heat, and road contaminants than OEM rubber. It provides a longer-lasting solution for suspension upgrades.

    • Heritage Look: Designed to maintain a classic appearance, the bushings are a subtle gray-green color, giving a nod to the original factory look of vintage BMW models while delivering modern performance benefits.

    • Fitment: Specifically designed for 19mm rear sway bars, ensuring a perfect fit for the rear sway bars of BMW E24, E28, E36, E46, and Z4 models.

    • Performance Enhancement: The polyurethane material provides a firmer connection between the sway bar and the chassis, significantly reducing body roll and improving cornering stability, leading to better handling and a more connected driving feel.

    • Easy Installation: This bushing is a direct replacement for the factory rubber bushings, making it simple to install with no modifications required. It’s designed for seamless integration into your car’s suspension system.

    Benefits:

    • Improved Handling: Reduces excessive movement in the rear sway bar, providing sharper cornering, reduced body roll, and better overall vehicle control.

    • Long-Lasting Performance: The high-quality polyurethane construction ensures extended durability compared to traditional rubber bushings, which wear out faster due to heat and road conditions.

    • Classic Aesthetic: Keeps the vintage look of your BMW while offering modern suspension performance, making it an ideal solution for classic car enthusiasts who want to retain the car's period-correct style.

The Powerflex Heritage Rear Sway Bar Bushing (19mm) is an excellent upgrade for BMW owners looking to enhance the suspension performance of their classic models without sacrificing the vehicle's original aesthetic. Perfect for those seeking improved handling and durability in both everyday and spirited driving.
