17.5MM (.69 inch) Wheel Spacers Adapters for BMW E39 5-series The E36 and E46 chassis have a lot more wheel options than the E39 5-series. That's because BMW chose to use a larger center bore for the E39 wheel than any other BMW model and many wheel manufacturers are reluctant to make E39-specific wheels. These adapters are the correct E39 hub size on the inside and the correct E36/E46/E9X wheel size on the outside with a 17.5mm thickness. This is good because the E39 needs a low wheel offset and 3-series wheels are all high offset so a spacer would be needed anyway. A Hub Adapter Spacer is the perfect solution! You will need to match the spacer to the new wheels (also taking the new wheel width into account) but call us for any fitment questions. Longer wheel bolts or wheel studs are required. This latest generation of the Turner Motorsport Wheel Spacers represents a total redesign of the wheel spacer concept - a ground-up, clean sheet design based on our years of BMW service and motorsports. We took everything we have learned from our service technicians, customers, and race team crew and built the spacer to beat all spacers. The stock aluminum sway bar brackets in the E39 5-Series suffer from a serious design flaw that has resulted in many people experiencing snapping and misshapen brackets, a mounting tab that is simply too weak. Not only was the OE bracket not designed to handle the loads required, but the aluminum construction was also easily fatigued over time, making an already questionable bracket weaker over time. This sub-par construction eventually leads to the mounting tab breaking off, releasing all tension on the sway bar, causing sloppy handling feel and knocking noises in the rear of your BMW. Luckily for all of us, the fix is simple. By swapping the construction from aluminum to steel, while maintaining all of the original dimensions, these brackets offer 3 times the mounting strength versus the OE brackets! This ensures that no matter how many track days or spirited weekends of driving your BMW sees, you can rest easy knowing your rear sway bar is securely mounted. To top it all off, these brackets are also zinc-coated, keeping away rust and corrosion for years. Why go steel E39 brackets instead of using E38 brackets? Fitment. Although the E38 bracket is a commonly suggested upgrade, it does require a bit of modification to fit properly and usually results in a bit of bushing compression, making your sway bar difficult to install.

Even driving your BMW home from the dealership, you might realize that the shifter throw leaves something to be desired when you find your right hand in your backseat when shifting into fourth gear. Things only go downhill from here, as these cars increase in age and mileage shifts feel less and less precise. Here at Turner, we CAD design everything in house and source the best materials to give you a truly amazing product and enhance the driving experience in your ultimate driving machine. After extensive testing and development, we are proud to present you with our Turner Motorsport short shifter. We wanted to develop something that could fit any BMW owner’s preferences - our engineering team decided this could be designed a height and throw adjustable short shifter that also features a “Quick Change” rally lever extension that allows you to easily swap back and forth between OE height shifter and the longer, rally lever you see in the product photos. Why the rally lever extension? Having the added height allows you to keep both hands closer to the wheel through shifts - this is especially helpful on the track, but we like it in our daily drivers too.

These 'show quality' black chrome wheel bolts have a satin/luster finish to them that looks better than most other finished bolts, including the factory bolts. The bolt head is also finished off better with a rounded head instead of recessed. If your wheels are perfect, your bolts should be too! These are high grade (10.9) 12x1.50 bolts, in the same size as the stock bolt or to be used with a small 5-8mm spacer.

Turner Motorsport's five years of endurance competition has taught us many things. One was that not all lug-nuts are made the same. While the standard nuts that we sell are great for daily drivers, HPDE events, and club racing, a beefier and more durable nut was needed for the 3-hour, 6-hour, and 24-hour professional endurance races. During the 24 Hours of Daytona, our crew guys made over 80 tire changes in NASCAR-style pitstops. That kind of abuse from air guns and fast work required the "next level" of lug-nut. These nuts are a high-grade steel with a chrome coating and they incorporate several innovative features. The wheel-side of the nut has recessed threads so that the nut has to be square to engage the threads. Without the recess, it's far too easy to start the threads with the nut being crooked. The 19mm head of the nut is slightly rounded to help the socket find its position. The chrome plating that we use is reasonably durable without being excessive. With too much coating, the chipped and worn coating fragments can end up in the threads, leading to all sorts of trouble. Anyone who has used nuts repeatedly knows that the coating is not going to last forever. The constant abuse from air guns will chip it all away. So why add weight and the potential for disaster with excess coating? We did away with most of the danger from that with a lighter coating that still resists the tough environment of the track. 19mm compact lug nut to fit 12x1.5 thread wheel studs (common for most BMWs made before 2012). This wheel nut has a reduced outer flange for a more compact and minimal fitment. On many wheels, the hole for the lugbolt or lugnut is a very narrow diameter. Not even the stock lugbolt will fit through and these wheels often come with their own lugbolts. Then when adding studs to the car the options for a small diameter lug nut are very limited. We ran into this problem over and over and finally found a solution! These compact lugs have all of the material of a 19mm nut but without the flange of a standard wheel nut. For this reason we do not recommend using these on a wheel that normally takes a standard bolt seat (the seat is very important to the strength and integrity of the design). But for wheels that are designed to use a small seat, these are the solution! Bright and durable zinc finish makes them easy to spot during fast pitstop tire changes.

Thin-wall 19mm socket may be required depending on your wheel design.
